After all the hype surrounding the golden iPhone , we are always on the look out for golden phones.If you have been following us closely , you must have read about the Samsung Galaxy Golden which was launched in South Korea back in August. It is an interesting flip phone running Android and features dual 3.7 inch WVGA AMOLED displays , one on the inside and one on the outside. The phone goes by the model number SHV-E400S in case you are planning to get your hands on one. Sadly no video but we have plenty of photos of the phone and the retail box for your viewing pleasure.

You can actually flip open the phone and use it like your flip phone from a decade ago. But just that this phone runs on the latest version of Android 4.2.
On the back you have the 8MP camera along with the LED flash.
It is a fairly chunky phone considering the fact that it packs two displays and it measures about 16mm in terms of thickness when folded.
Here is the retail box which is currently on sale in Korea with carrier SKT.
The phone support Category 3 LTE networks. It is powered by a 1.7 GHz Qualcomm Dual core processor.
There is a 1820 mAh battery on the inside and I’m not sure if it sufficient for a dual display phone but Samsung claims about 11 hours of talk time for this glamorous phone. It has been manufactured only in August 2013 which is just about a month ago and is a fairly new device.It is currently on sale only in South Korea but unlocked units are being sold in unofficial models for a hefty price tag of anywhere from 700-800 USD. Anyone interested in this type of form factor in 2013 ? I would have got one if only it was priced more reasonably !
