Android 4.4 KitKat now on 17.9% of Android devices, Jelly Bean decreases for the first time

Google has released its monthly numbers for android distribution for July. Android KitKat is now running on 17.9% of Android devices reporting a 4.3% increase over last month when it stood at 13.6%.

Flipkart Digiflip Pro XT 712 Benchmarks

Flipkart launched its first tablet Digiflip Pro XT 712 under its own brand last month. We brought you the unboxing of the tablet last week, here we have the benchmarks of the tablet. Unlike most other tablets powered by a MT6582 processor, this one has a MediaTek MT8382 SoC with 500 MHz Mali 400-MP2 GPU. It has a 7-inch (1280 x 800 pixels) multi touch IPS display. It packs 1GB RAM and runs on Android 4.2.2 (Jelly Bean) OS. Check out the synthetic benchmark scores below.

BlackBerry launched the BlackBerry Z3, its latest smartphone in the Z series in India at the end of June for Rs. 15,990. We already brought the photo gallery of the Z3 from the launch event ,couple of weeks back. Rumors that were looming around for a while suggested that Sony will be launching a smartphone in second half of 2014.
