Samsung has announced the Galaxy Note 10.1 at the MWC. It has 10.1-inch WXGA (1280 x 800 pixel) TFT display and is powered by 1.4 GHz Dual-Core Processor. It runs on Android 4.0(Ice Cream Sandwich). This has advanced pen-input technology, called the S Pen that provides uniquely accurate level of control and finesse that could be used for sketching and artwork. Samsung has announced the Galaxy Beam, projector smartphone the successor of their previous Beam. It has 4.0-inch 480×800 (WVGA) TFT display and is powered by 1 GHz Dual-Core Processor. It runs on Android 2.3 (Gingerbread). It has 5MP Auto focus camera with flash, 1.3MP secondary camera. It is 12.5mm thick and weighs 145.3 g. It has 15 lumens projector that allows users to freely share photos, videos or other digital media instantly and in crisp clarity up to 50-inch wide, even in outdoor environments. Samsung feature phones to come preloaded with Opera Mini browser
Opera Mini to come pre-loaded on Samsung’s latest feature phones such as Samsung Star 3, Star 3 Duos and Champ Deluxe Duos. The Opera Mini offers faster browsing and also saves browsing charges. It is 10 times faster and consumes up to 90% less data since the webpages are compressed before being sent to the phone. Samsung Galaxy S2 sales cross 20 million units
Samsung has announced that the Samsung Galaxy S2 sales (to channels and distributors) have surpassed 20 million units worldwide, 10 months after the launch. The 4.3-inch Android phone with super AMOLED Plus display was launched in Korea last April and later launched in other Asian and European countries Worldwide. 1 million units of Galaxy S2 were sold in Korea in the first 30 days. Samsung showcases the 4GB LPDDR3 RAM at ISSCC
Samsung has been bringing out loads of mobile hardwares lately, and it is being really profitable for them, their Exynos line of processors were a great success and now they have come up with the first 4GB LPDDR3 RAM which two times faster than the current being used in the mobile devices. This new RAM was unveiled at ISSCC expo.
