Samsung Galaxy S3 Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update resumes Internationally

Samsung had big plans for its yesteryear flagships – Samsung Galaxy S3 and Samsung Galaxy Note 2 when it announced that both phones will be skipping Android 4.2.2 update and will be directly updated to Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. The big plan seemed to go well for the South Korean electronics giant as it released the Android 4.3 update for Galaxy S3 right on time, but only to be halted later because of performance issues.

Samsung pauses Galaxy S3 Android 4.3 roll out to investigate issues

Earlier this month Samsung started rolling out the Android 4.3 (Jelly Bean) update for the Galaxy S3, directly from Android 4.1.2, skipping the Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) update. Few week after the roll out, Samsung has temporarily suspended the roll out globally to investigate software issues, reports SamMobile. This update bring Galaxy Gear support, improved Samsung Keyboard, new GPU drivers, New S-Voice (from Galaxy S4) and lots. According to the report Samsung would also introduce KNOX security feature for the phone, when they resumes the roll out. Samsung Galaxy S3 gets official Android 4.3 update in Ireland, International roll-out to follow soon

Samsung has just updated their current flagship – Samsung Galaxy S4 with Android 4.3 and now it looks like the South Korean company has started pushing out the Android 4.3 update to their yesteryear flagship – Samsung Galaxy S3. Samsung Galaxy S3 was launched with Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich and it received an update to Android 4.1.2 sometime back. The company skipped Android 4.2 for Galaxy S3 and Galaxy Note 2 and are directly updating their yesteryear flagships to Android 4.3 Jellybean.

There was mighty uproar yesterday about a dirty USSD hack that enabled links with a simple USSD code wipe the entire phone back to factory reset. It was widely reported to have affected all the major Samsung devices that were running the company’s custom skin called TouchWiz. Samsung Galaxy S3 has got a price cut in India, and is available for Rs. 34900 from select online retailers in India. TheGalaxy S3 was launched in India in May for a MRP of Rs. 43,180, and the Garnet Red version went on sale last week for a MOP of Rs. 37,500. The Galaxy S3 price is now on-par with the HTC One X . Samsung unveils Brown, Red, Black and Grey Galaxy S3

Samsung has announced that the Galaxy S3 would be available in new range of colors, Amber Brown, Garnet Red, Sapphire Black and Titanium Grey, globally. The Red Galaxy S3 was exclusively launched for AT&T in July and it was spotted in Germany last week. Samsung has officially announced that the Samsung Galaxy S III would be available from AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless and U.S. Cellular starting in June. It would come 4.8-inch (1280×720 pixels) HD Super AMOLED display with Gorilla Glass 2.0 to guard against cracks and scratches and is powered by Snapdragon S4 Dual Core 1.5 GHz processor. Samsung has officially announced that the Galaxy S3 would be available in Canada starting from 20th June. It has 4.8-inch (1280×720 pixels) HD Super AMOLED display and is powered by Snapdragon S4 Dual Core 1.5 GHz instead of Exynos 4 Quad. It would come in 2 versions, SGH-i747 with LTE support and SGH-iT999 with HSPA+ 42 support. It runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) with TouchWiz with Motion UX. Samsung has launched the Galaxy S III in India. Samsung unveiled the Galaxy S III earlier this month at an Event in London and the pre-booking started in India on Samsung eStore couple of weeks back. The Galaxy S III packs in 4.8 inch (720 x 1280 pixels) Super AMOLED display, 1.4GHz Quad-Core processor and runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). Samsung launches Galaxy S3 in 28 countries, to be available in 145 countries by July

Samsung has officially announced that it has launched the Galaxy S3 in 28 countries today in Europe, Middle East and Africa including, United Kingdom, France, UAE and Saudi Arabia. They plan to launch in a total of 145 countries across 296 carriers by July. This is more than that of the previous Galaxy S series phones. The Galaxy S was launched in 112 countries with 175 operators and the Galaxy S2 was launched in 135 countries with 210 operators.
