Back in June, Samsung had announced that the Galaxy SIII would reach 10 million sales by July and it seems that they’ve reached that goal right on schedule. Shin Jying Kyun of Samsung has announced that the Galaxy SIII crossed the 10 million sales mark since its launch on May 29th.

Post the Android 4.1 announcement at Google I/O a few days back, Samsung has finally begun the Android 4.0 update roll out to its tablet lineup. Starting off with the Galaxy Tab 7.7, the rest of the devices still stuck on Honeycomb should get the update shortly.

Samsung has launched the Galaxy S3 in Korea. It would have similar specs including a 4.8-inch HD Super AMOLED Display (1280×720), 1.4GHz Exynos quad-core processor, 8MP Rear-facing camera and 1.9MP Front-facing camera and 2,100 mAh battery. Samsung has confirmed to the Verge that the LTE version would also similar specs with a separate LTE modem chip. The LTE variants in the US, Canada and Japan came with 1.5 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor. You might have seen the Tizen Developer device which is a Samsung phone running on the Tizen platform. Tizen is the joint venture between Intel and Samsung and the Operating System is expected to be ready this June with devices running on the Tizen OS expected to hit the market in the 2nd half of 2012. Samsung today set up its first ‘Mobile Brand Store’ in New Delhi , India. Located in the popular Select City Mall , the store is spread over 1600 sq. ft. of retail space.
Samsung’s entire range of devices spread across price points from Rs.7350 to Rs 38,250 can be found at the store. Though the invite does not mention the name of the device, it might be the most expected Galaxy S3.
