Verizon Summer catalog leaked, confirms Droid 2!

BGR got their hands on the leaked Verizon Wireless Summer device catalog, in which we will see a lot of interesting things. The most interesting thing we will see is the successor of the Original Droid/Milestone (read our review), the Droid 2 (and the image above confirmed that the phone will be called Droid 2). We are only waiting for Verizon to come out and announce the Droid 2. The image confirms that the announcement of the Droid 2 is around the corner, and Verizon will launch the phone later this Summer. The images also confirms the specs of the Droid 2. Verizon: We have inventory to meet customer needs around the Droid X

Verizon and Motorola worked very hard on the Droid X which is about to hit the market on July 15th. Droid X is one of the best devices ever made by Motorola, and it’s going to be Verizon’s beloved flagship device. We also saw Verizon launching the Droid Incredible a while ago, which is no doubt a good phone. Refurbished version of iPhone 3G and 3GS hits Bell

Canadian carrier Bell is now carrying the Apple iPhone 3G and 3GS refurbished version. The Apple iPhone 3G will cost you $9.95, or you can get the the iPhone 3GS 16 GB for $49.95 or the 32 GB version for $99.95 (this is Canadian dollar!). Both phone comes with a warranty of 90 days, so if you are not happy with your iPhone, then you can return it anytime between your first 90 days with your refurbished iPhone, or you can wait for the Apple iPhone 4, which is about to hit Canada. Trillian IM client coming to Android

Trillian has announced that they are going to jump into the Android bandwagon soon, they announced that the beta version will be out in few weeks. Trillian app is already available on iPhone and BlackBerry, and now Android is their next target. What’s Trillian? Trillian is a multi-network instant messaging application that allows you to chat with your buddies on Facebook Chat, Windows Live, Yahoo!, AIM, ICQ, Google Talk, Jabber and MySpace IM.

Samsung Galaxy S facing reception issues?

We saw iPhone 4 facing the signal reception problems, which is due to the antenna design, but after watching the video below, I don’t think so iPhone 4 is the only phone with the problem. Because according to the video, the Samsung Galaxy S is also facing the problem. Sprint considering on LTE and T-Mobile merger

Sprint CEO Dan Hesse was talking to the Financial Times, while giving the interview, Dan Hesse said that “We have the spectrum resources where we could add LTE if we choose to do that, on top of the WiMAX network. The beauty of having a lot of spectrum is we have a lot of flexibility.” That means that Sprint is also considering on LTE, not only on 4G (WiMax). There is no doubt in it that LTE is more faster than WiMax. Sprint WiMax partner, Clearwire also said that LTE is a possibility in the future. Motorola Milestone Review

Motorola was a successful company that enjoyed peak sales with their RAZR series of phones. But the sales went downhill as they were not able to bring out anything new other than phones that were quite similar to the RAZR phones in design and functionality but in different form-factors.

Motorola desperately needed a new device to revive the company by boosting sales. The answer to their problems was the Motorola MILESTONE/ DROID. It was Motorola’s attempt to recreate the success they had with the RAZR phones and it did work. The Motorla DROID which was first introduced in the US and the Motorola MILESTONE which is the GSM Version of the same phone was released worldwide. Motorola has enjoyed record breaking sales of the DROID in USA and MILESTONE also has received great feedback. So the question remains is whether the Milestone with worth the money ? Rumor: Samsung Galaxy S receiving Android 2.2 in August, but only in S.Korea

Samsung Galaxy S is one of the most successful devices of Samsung this year , they recently launched the smartphone in South Korea and they sold more than 200,000 in just 10 days, that’s a big achievement. People who bought the Galaxy S in S.Korea are very happy, and they are waiting for only one thing which is missing in Galaxy S, the Android 2.2. Samsung Hub is reporting that Android 2.2 for South Korean Galaxy S is set to release in early August, which is more than a good news for S.Korean folks. August is around the corner so S.Koreans start waiting.
