moto buds 2 plus with Sound by Bose, Dual Drivers, up to 55dB ANC, LHDC launched in India for Rs. 5999

motorola has expanded its connected device lineup in the Indian market with the launch of the moto buds 2 plus, after it was introduced in March at the MWC 2026. The new wireless earbuds are positioned to offer a range of audio, connectivity, and smart features designed for both personal and professional use.

Audio Architecture and Specifications

The internal hardware of the moto buds 2 plus features a dual-driver design. This includes 11mm dynamic drivers to handle lower frequencies and bass, paired with Knowles balanced armatures to manage mid and high frequencies. The audio profile is officially tuned in partnership with Bose, branded as “Sound by Bose.”

For wireless audio transmission, the earbuds support High-Resolution Audio via the Low-Latency High-Definition Audio Codec (LHDC). Additionally, the devices are equipped with Spatial Audio capabilities to provide a more directional listening experience.

Noise Management and Call Quality

To handle ambient sound, the moto buds 2 plus incorporate Dynamic Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), which adjusts the level of noise reduction based on the surrounding environment.

Voice communication is facilitated by a six-microphone array that utilizes Environmental Noise Cancellation (ENC) and a high signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) design. For further noise reduction during voice and video calls, users can access the Moto Buds companion app to enable “CrystalTalk AI,” a software feature that uses artificial intelligence to isolate the user’s voice in loud environments.

Battery Life and Connectivity

According to Motorola’s specifications, the moto buds 2 plus deliver up to 9 hours of continuous playback on a single charge. The included charging case provides additional power, extending the total estimated battery life to up to 40 hours.

The earbuds include several connectivity features intended for users who utilize multiple devices:

  • Dual Connection: Allows the earbuds to pair with two separate devices (e.g., a laptop and a smartphone) simultaneously, enabling seamless switching between them without repairing.
  • Audio Share: Permits two pairs of moto buds 2 plus to connect to a single host device, allowing two users to listen to the same media source at once.
Smart Features and AI Integration

The hardware includes built-in Wear Detection, which automatically pauses media playback when an earbud is removed and resumes when reinserted. The touch controls on the exterior of the earbuds are customizable, allowing users to assign specific actions—such as play/pause, track skipping, call management, or voice assistant activation—to specific tap patterns.

Furthermore, the moto buds 2 plus are designed to integrate closely with compatible Motorola smartphones to leverage “moto ai” features. Through press-and-hold commands, users can access specific AI functions:

  • Catch me up: Summarizes pending notifications.
  • Pay attention: Records, transcribes, or summarizes live meetings and conversations.
  • Remember this: Allows users to log and recall specific details and information.
  • AI Translation: Provides real-time translation capabilities directly through the earbuds on select devices.
