Fishlabs Entertainment and Volkswagen Group China released their free content updates for 3D racing simulation Sports Car Challenge for iOS. This update includes new race track called Singapore by Night, as well as 2 new gameplay features. Sports Car Challenge features an exclusive selection of high-end sports cars by Audi, Bentley, Bugatti, Lamborghini, Porsche, and Volkswagen. The new Singapore by Night race tracks has neon-lit streets, re-modeled sights and landmarks set in Southeast Asian city-state and the new gameplay features include Racing Line and Brake Assistant. Vineet Taneja to head Samsung India’s Mobile and Digital imaging business
Samsung India has announced that they have appointed Vineet Taneja as the Country Head for its Mobile & Digital Imaging Business, replacing Ranjit Yadav. Vineet Taneja previously served as Operations Director, South India and Sri Lanka at Bharti Airtel. Prior joining Airtel, he served as Chief Marketing Officer for Nokia India between January 2008 to April 2010. He has over 25 years of experience and has worked in sectors like Sales, Marketing, Multimedia, Operations in companies including Hindustan Lever Ltd., Nokia India and Bharti Airtel. Lava to launch 7-inch Tablet with 3G, Voice calling soon
Lava Mobiles has announced that it would launch their first tablet with 3G and Voice calling support soon. Lava launched the E-Tab XTRON, the company’s first Android tablet running Android 4.1 last month, but it lacked a SIM card slot and voice calling capabilities. The upcoming E-Tab would come with both these features, but it would run on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) instead of Jelly Bean. Samsung Galaxy S4 new screenshots surface, confirms 5-inch 1080p display and 13MP camera
Even though earlier rumors revealed the specifications of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S4, new screenshots from the U.S variant of the Samsung Galaxy S4 has confirmed that the phone would indeed come with a 5-inch Full HD (1920×1080 pixels). These also reveal that it would be powered by a 1.8 GHz quad-core processor and come with 4G LTE support. It shows the new home screen with a slightly better Touchwiz UI and the smart screen settings confirms the Smart scroll and Smart pause features. LG Optimus F7 launched as Optimus LTE 3 in Korea
LG has launched the Optimus LTE 3, the successor of the Optimus LTE 2 in Korea. The Optimus LTE 3 is just the Optimus F7 that was unveiled at the MWC last month. It packs a 4.7-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) True HD IPS Display and is powered by 1.5GHz dual-core processor. It runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). It is 9.6 mm thick and weighs 134 grams. It has Q shopping, a NFC-based shopping app for Korean users.

Airtel launches new roaming pack for prepaid customers in Delhi
Airtel has launched a new roaming pack for their prepaid mobile customers in Delhi that would let them enjoy free incoming calls while roaming in Bihar, Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh, Uttrakhand and West Bengal (except Kolkata). This pack costs Rs. 21, and offers free incoming calls for 30 days while roaming in any of these states. National roaming usually costs Re 1 per minute, this pack eliminates such charges, at least in these states when the pack is activated. Xolo A1000 Review
Xolo A1000 is the company’s latest offering in the economy android phone market. Xolo has pitched the 5 inch screen phone, as one that can comfortably fit the consumers palm and budget. Xolo A1000 is priced at Rupees 13,999. The phone has width that measures nearly 70 mm, making the big screen phone easier to hold and function with the same hand. It also uses One Glass Solution technology. As the name suggests, only a single glass is used on the phone.
With these special features, will XOLO A1000 5 inch screen phone be able to stand tall, in a market that has already been swamped by competing brands. XOLO A1000 is not the first 5 inch economy phone in the android phone market. Micromax and Intex launched their 5 inch screen phones weeks before XOLO A1000 . Both phones are priced way below the new entrant’s MRP. Micromax A110 Canvas 2 and Intex Aqua 5.0, both were launched in December and are priced around 10,000 rupees. The latest Micromax A116 Canvas HD that we reviewed recently is priced similar to the Xolo A1000.

The Zync Dual 7.0 is powered by a 1.6 GHz dual-core processor and both the Quad 8.0 and Quad 9.7 tablets are powered by 1.5 GHz quad-core processors. Chrome Beta for Android updated with data compression, password and autofill Sync
Google has updated the Chrome Beta browser app to version 26.0.1410.26 that brings new features including Password and Autofill Sync that lets you sync data from the Chrome browser on your desktop to your Android smartphones and tablets. The Password sync would let you sync passwords easily, and the autofill option lets you fill out forms on a small screen. This version also brings experimental data compression feature based on SPDY proxy running on Google servers. The Google Chrome compression feature was rumored earlier this week.
