motorola India has officially teased the arrival of its latest smartphone, the motorola edge 70 Pro+. Promoted with the tagline “stunning inside out,” the device succeeds the edge 70 Pro launched last month.

Promotional materials and official retailer listings on Flipkart highlight key design choices and prominent camera upgrades targeted at the premium mid-range segment.
A central focus of the edge 70 Pro+ is its emphasis on aesthetics and tactile material choices. Developed in collaboration with Pantone, the smartphone is scheduled to release in three distinct textured finishes:
- Satin-Luxe Finish (Pantone Zinfandel): A deep maroon/wine shade featuring a smooth matte surface.
- Twill-Inspired Finish (Pantone Blue Surf): A textured blue-green option mimicking a woven, fabric-like feel.
- Sculpted Wood Finish (Pantone Wood Gold): A distinct brown option simulating a linear wood-grain aesthetic.
The physical design carries over the quad-curved form factor seen in recent edge-series iterations, balancing a slim, ergonomic in-hand feel with a square-shaped rear camera housing that matches the color theme of the back panel.
Camera Capabilities and Hardware
The Edge 70 Pro+ aims to distinguish itself through upgraded imaging performance, resolving specific hardware limitations noted in previous regional models.
Main Sensor Technology
The primary imaging setup utilizes a 50MP Sony LYTIA™ 710 sensor. This module is equipped with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and relies on integrated “moto AI” algorithms to optimize low-light image capture, increase dynamic range, and prevent blur in fast-moving environments.
Telephoto and Portrait Upgrades
Unlike standard iterations, the edge 70 Pro+ introduces dedicated long-distance and portrait hardware. The promotional material highlights:
- 3.5x Optical Zoom and up to 50X Super Zoom Pro configurations.
- A dedicated 85mm focal length setting optimized specifically for natural depth-of-field portrait photography.
It is said to pack a 6.7 to 6.8-inch 1.5K Quad-Curved 144Hz AMOLED screen and Turbo Power wired and wireless charging capabilities. We should know more details, including the SoC, soon since the launch is expected sometime in early June.
