Samsung announced the Galaxy Watch at its New York event earlier this month in Wi-Fi and LTE versions. Now the company started taking pre-orders for the LTE version of the smartwatch in the U.S. that would head to T-Mobile. Flipkart acquires AI speech-recognition startup Liv.ai

Flipkart has announced that it has acquired Liv.ai which is an AI-led speech-recognition startup that has developed a speech-to-text platform supporting 10 Indian languages. This acquisition would become part of Flipkart’s center voice solution, and help accelerate an end-to-end conversational shopping experience. Apple said to be planning on opening flagship outlets in key locations in India to drive sales

With Apple plans to open its own Stores in India pending due to government’s approval, the company is seeking to open biggest franchisee outlets at key locations in metropolitan cities in India. According to a latest report, the 5-6 franchisee-run outlets will each be at least three times larger than the current, 1,000-square foot stores and may even go up to 5,000 square foot. Itel today launched three new smartphones – A22, A22 Pro and A45 in India. All these have 18:9 aspect ratio displays, while the A45 comes with a 5.45-inch HD+ display, has dual rear cameras and also features a fingerprint sensor on the back. The A22 series is powered by Snapdragon 210 SoC and the A45 is powered by MediaTek MT6739 SoC. The A22 and A45 run Android 8.1 Oreo (Go edition) and the A22 Pro runs Android 8.1 (Oreo).

OnePlus 6 OxygenOS closed beta registrations now open

OnePlus already released open beta for the OnePlus 6 back in May, and it keeps updating it frequently.  Now the company has announced that it is opening registrations for closed beta program to get feedback and refine or revise the OxygenOS based on that before pushing the public beta.

Now the company has started teasing the launch of the A8 Star in India, exclusively on Amazon.in. It has has a 6.28-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED Infinity display, is powered by Snapdragon 660, has a 16-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a secondary 24-megapixel rear camera. It has a fingerprint sensor on the back and packs a 3700mAh battery. Along with the F9 Pro, OPPO also introduced the F9, a cheaper version in the ‘F series’ in India.
