OPPO R17 with 6.4-inch Full HD+ display, 8GB RAM, in-display fingerprint sensor to be announced on August 23

After confirming all the details about the R17, OPPO has confirmed that it will introduce the smartphone at an event in Shanghai on August 23rd. It will come with a 6.4-inch Full HD+ 19:9 aspect ratio display with a notch and 91.5% screen-to-body ratio and Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection, 10nm Qualcomm Snapdragon SoC, which will likely be the recently-announced  Snapdragon 670. Motorola confirms Android 9.0 Pie update for range of smartphones

Google released Android 9.0 (Pie) last week for its Pixel devices and also said that it is working with several OEMs to roll out the update. After HTC,  Motorola has confirmed Pie update for its smartphones, including the Moto X4 that was introduced running Android 7.1 (Nougat). The latest Moto Z3 series, Z2 series and the Moto G6 series are getting the update, but the Moto Z, G5 and G5S series are being left out. Even this year’s Moto E5 series are not getting the update. Moto P30 with 6.2-inch Full HD+ display, 6GB RAM, 128GB storage, AI dual rear cameras announced

After a leak, Motorola has officially announced the Moto P30 its latest mid-range smartphone in the new ‘P series’ in China. It has a  6.2-inch Full HD+ display with 19:9 aspect ratio, Snapdragon 636 with 6GB of RAM, Android 8.1 (Oreo) with ZUI 4.0, glass back and gradient design, similar to the Lenovo Z5 that was introduced in June. Reliance Jio introduced the  JioPhone 2, the successor of  last year’s JioPhone last month. The company said that it will be available starting from August 15th. Today the company has confirmed that the smartphone will go on sale for the first time via flash sale on August 16th, 12PM on Jio.com.
