Motorola XT1585 for Verizon surfaced last month along with XT1578 and XT192A smartphones. This revealed a Quad HD display and Android 5.1.1. Later the reddit user revealed the codename of the smartphone as Kinzie and said that the smartphone will be powered by a Octa-Core Snapdragon 810 SoC. Now the smartphone has showed up in GFXBench (Via) listing that reveals its specifications. Quad-HD Windows 10 phone confirmed – Might be the Lumia 940 XL

In April, we brought to you news about the Lumia 940 and the 940 XL. The Lumia 940 is expected to have a 5.2″ screen while the 940 XL is expected to pack a larger 5.7″ screen. An ad network has apparently listed two devices with model numbers RM-1104/1105 and RM-1100 which fall right into place with the two rumoured 940 phones.

Sony E5663 specifications surface – Comes with a 4.6″ 1080p display, 13MP front camera and 3GB RAM

If a new set of scores posted on GFXBench have anything to say then it is that Sony is working on a new powerful compact smartphone that has even better specifications than the XPERIA Z3 Compact. The device in question has the model number E5663. It comes with a 4.6″ 1080p display, 3GB of RAM and a 13 Megapixel front facing camera.

Lenovo Vibe S1 with 5-inch 1080p display, Android 5.0 gets certified in China

Lenovo Vibe S1, the company’s upcoming smartphone was leaked back in February, but the company did not unveil it at the MWC in March. Now the smartphone has been certified on TENAA (via) in China. According to the listing, the smartphone will come with a 5-inch 1080p display, will be powered by a 1.7GHz Octa-Core processor, run on Android 5.0 (Lollipop), come with a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 8-megapixel front-facing camera. Samsung might not launch an Edge variant with the Galaxy Note 5 this year

Samsung normally unveil the latest Galaxy Note smartphone every year at IFA in Berlin and last year along with the Note 4, they also launched the Note Edge. The Edge formula has been a success for Samsung which they even followed up with the S6 and S6 Edge. However new reports state that Samsung won’t be announcing an Edge variant of the Note 5 when it launches this year.

Apple said to be working on iPhone without the home button

It looks like Apple is planning to remove the home button from the next iPhone. A report from DigiTimes is stating that the company is working on a new iPhone design that would get rid of the physical home button.

The iPhone currently uses a physical home button that acts a menu button and also acts as a Touch ID fingerprint sensor. The company says it is developing a new in-house touch and display driver integration (TDDI) single-chip solution for the iPhone. Live images of Samsung Galaxy A8 (SM-A8000) surfaced last week, now the smartphone has been certified by TENAA (via) in China. It confirms most of the specifications of the smartphone and also reveals that it will have a 5.7-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display, and not a 5.5-inch display as rumored earlier. Motorola’s third generation Moto G (2015) has surfaced in a bunch of leaked images. The phone that is codenamed Osprey has a model number “XT1543” and the photos are reportedly taken from an unspecified Chinese forum.

The listing reveals that the smartphone will feature a 5-inch HD screen, will be powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735 64-bit processor, compared to the MT6732 SoC on the predecessor and run on Android 5.0 (Lollipop) with FlyMe OS.
