Samsung Galaxy Ace Duos now available in India for Rs. 13,490

The Samsung Galaxy Ace Duos, Dual SIM Android phone is now available in India from online retailers Letsbuy and Flipkart. Samsung unveiled the Galaxy Ace Duos along with a range of Dual SIM smartphones in India last week. The Samsung Galaxy Ace Duos is a Dual SIM (GSM + CDMA) smartphone with Dual Standby. It comes with 3.5-inch (320 x 480 Pixels) TFT display and is powered by 800 MHz Qualcomm processor. It has 3MP camera and runs on Android 2.3 (Gingerbread). Samsung feature phones to come preloaded with Opera Mini browser

Opera Mini to come pre-loaded on Samsung’s latest feature phones such as Samsung Star 3, Star 3 Duos and Champ Deluxe Duos. The Opera Mini offers faster browsing and also saves browsing charges. It is 10 times faster and consumes up to 90% less data since the webpages are compressed before being sent to the phone. Airtel Money – Mobile Payment Service now available across India

Airtel has expanded its Airtel Money, Mobile Payment Service that is now available in 300+ key cities across India. This enables the Airtel Money users load cash on their mobile devices and spend it to pay utility bills and recharges, shop at 7,000+ merchant outlets, transact online etc. They launched the Airtel Money services last year starting with Delhi NCR and expanded it to Chennai in May 2011. NVIDIA Tegra 3 vSMP architecture renamed as 4-PLUS-1

NVIDIA has officially renamed their variable Symmetric Multiprocessing (vSMP) Multi-Core CPU architecture as 4-PLUS-1 quad-core architecture. They unveiled the Quad-Core Tegra 3 processor for Tablets and Mobile Phones last November. This offers better performance with their 4 cores while playing HD videos and games sand uses its companion core while performing tasks that require less power consumption like playing music, e-mail, operating in standby mode or updating background data. ZTE to unveil 8 new devices including Windows Phone and Multi-Core Android phones at MWC 2012

ZTE has announced that they would unveil 8 new devices at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) next week. These devices include multi-core chipsets, LTE, 4G radio and the latest Android and Windows Mobile platforms. They have already revealed the ZTE PF200 and the N910 LTE smartphones running on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) with 1.2GHz and 1.5GHz chipsets, earlier this week. Samsung Galaxy S2 sales cross 20 million units

Samsung has announced that the Samsung Galaxy S2 sales (to channels and distributors) have surpassed 20 million units worldwide, 10 months after the launch. The 4.3-inch Android phone with super AMOLED Plus display was launched in Korea last April and later launched in other Asian and European countries Worldwide. 1 million units of Galaxy S2 were sold in Korea in the first 30 days. LG Optimus 4X HD with 1.5GHz Quad-core Tegra 3 processor, 4.7-inch HD display and Android 4.0 announced

LG has announced the Optimus 4X HD, successor of the LG Optimus 2x, the that was launched last year. It has 4.7-inch True HD IPS display and is powered by 1.5GHz Quad-core Tegra 3 processor. It runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). It has 8MP auto focus camera with LED Flash support, 1.3MP secondary camera and is 8.9mm thick . Asus Transformer Prime Bootloader unlock tool now available for download

Asus has finally released the Bootloader unlock tool for the Transformer Prime tablet as they announced last month. This would be useful for the modding community who would like to have the bootloader unlocked and also for people who would like to install custom ROM on their tablet. LG Optimus 3D Max Android Smartphone unveiled

LG has unveiled the Optimus 3D MAX, successor of the LG Optimus 3D that was launched last year. This is the international variant of the Optimus 3D Cube that was announced for SK Telecom in Korea earlier today. It has 4.3-inch IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass 2 protection that would offer Glasses-Free 3D viewing and is powered by 1.2GHz dual-core processor. It is just 9.6mm thick and weighs 148g with metallic and rounded edges as the previous rumors suggested. It comes D-style cubicle icons that could also be customized with Icon Customizer app and also has enhanced 3D Converter to convert Google Maps and other road views into 3D. T-Mobile USA has announced that the Samsung Galaxy S Blaze 4G would be available late March. They unveiled the Samsung Galaxy S Blaze 4G at CES last month and it supports upto 42 Mbps data speeds on HSPA+. It has 3.97-inch Super AMOLED display and is powered by 1.5 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S3 processor. It runs on Android 2.3 (Gingerbread). It comes with 5-megapixel camera with 720p HD video recording with flash and advanced shooting modes, 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera for video chat. LG has announced Optimus 3D Cube, successor of their flagship 3D smartphone, LG Optimus 3D that was launched last year. This new 3D smartphone comes with 4.3 inches wide viewing angle (IPS) LCD display. It is powered by 1.2GHz dual-core processor and runs on Android 2.3 version Gingerbread. It has Dual 5MP auto focus cameras with LED flash and secondary VGA camera. It comes with unique features such as My Suit that lets you edit icons with custom image, 3D editing tool and has NFC that also comes wit hLG Tag Plus (Tag +). An unlisted Youtube video on the Nokia official account hints at a Pure View camera phone for MWC2012. Nokia is hosting a press event on Monday Feb 27 and the date finds a mention in the video. Huawei 10-inch Mediapad tablet images surface ahead of MWC

New images of their 10-inch Android tablet has surfaced ahead of MWC launch that shows its thin metal body. Images of Huawei Ascend D1 Q quad-core smartphone surfaced couple of days back. This tablet is said to come with 10-inch display with 16:9 aspect ratio and would run on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). eyeSight to launch Gesture-controlled Music Player App for iPhone and iPad at MWC

eyeSight Mobile Technologies has announced that they would launch SoundWave music app with new gesture recognition technology at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2012 in Barcelona, Spain. They were the ones behind the gesture controls in the Micromax A85 that was launched last November. The SoundWave app for iPhone and iPad would enable users to control their iPhones and iPads using simple hand gestures.
