Today we unbox the Xolo Play Tab 7.0, the Tegra 3 based gaming-focused tablet that launched a while back. Xolo Play was the first phone from the Indian manufacturer to sport a decent build quality and the Tegra 3 processor. It was clearly focused at gaming and Xolo wants to take it further into the hands of tablet seekers, with the 7 inch Xolo Play Tab. This is pretty much a Nexus 7 2012 repackaged with better materials and a different display. So, how does it look and perform in real? NVIDIA announces support for Miracast wireless display standard for Tegra 3 devices

NVIDIA has announced that they would bring support for Miracast, open wireless display standard  that was announced earlier this May. It would let Tegra 3 users to instantly stream content including photos and HDTVs to any Miracast-enabled display. The quad-core Tegra 3 chip would also let you stream intensive games such as ShadowGun THD which is Tegra 3-optimized game on to HDTVs. NVIDIA announces Tegra 3 optimized games

NVIDIA has announced new games optimized for next-gen Tegra 3 4-PLUS-1 quad-core device at MWC 2012. These games include, Sonic The Hedgehog 4: Episode II, Golden Arrow THD, Dark Kingdom THD, Eden to GREEEEN THD and Hamilton’s Great Adventure THD. These games on Tegra 3, with four performance processing cores, in addition to its fifth battery saver core, and a 12-core GeForce GPU would offer perfect gaming experience. ZTE Era with Tegra 3 Quad-core processor, 4.3-inch display and Android 4.0 announced

ZTE has announced the ZTE Era their first phone with the 1.3GHz NVIDIA Tegra 3 Quad-core processor. The Tegra 3 has unique 4-PLUS-1 quad-core architecture with a fifth battery saver core. It has 4.3-inch (960 x 540 pixels) display. It runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) and has NVIDIA Icera 450 HSPA+ modem. It is just 7.8mm thick. NVIDIA Tegra 3 vSMP architecture renamed as 4-PLUS-1

NVIDIA has officially renamed their variable Symmetric Multiprocessing (vSMP) Multi-Core CPU architecture as 4-PLUS-1 quad-core architecture. They unveiled the Quad-Core Tegra 3 processor for Tablets and Mobile Phones last November. This offers better performance with their 4 cores while playing HD videos and games sand uses its companion core while performing tasks that require less power consumption like playing music, e-mail, operating in standby mode or updating background data. NVIDIA unveils Quad-Core Tegra 3 processor for Tablets and Mobile Phones

NVIDIA has unveiled the world’s first Quad-Core Tegra 3 processor for tablets and mobile phones. This is said to offer PC-class performance levels, better battery life and better mobile experiences (Better web experience, faster applications and multitasking) in tablets and mobile phones.This was previously named, Project Kal-El that was confirmed by the Nvidia CEO in AsiaD last month. HTC Edge Quad-core Android smartphone image and specs surface

According to the Pocketnow sources, HTC Edge might be the  world’s first mobile phone powered by quad-core processor. They have also posted an image of the phone (above). Okie, we admit. We are loving the path NVIDIA is taking. They have brought World’s first Dual-core, 3D and now plan to launch Quad-Core mobile processors.
