The guys living in Romania have finally started receiving the Android 2.3.3 update for their LG Optimus One. The latest update is working fine for everyone and there are no major issues, except the proximity sensor, which turns the screen off on a larger distance during a phone call.
LG Optimus One is the company’s largest selling Android handset. LG managed to sell more than 1 million units of Optimus One in just 40 days. This handset originally runs on the Android 2.2 (Froyo) Operating System. Last year, soon after the launch of Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) OS, LG said that, the LG Optimus One will receive the Android Gingerbread update in the coming months. Now, the wait is finally over! Facebook for Android has been updated to version 1.6.0, that brings video upload support. The previous version was 1.5.4 that was released this April. The new version also brings some improvements in the news feed and ability to view the Facebook pages. The video uploading feature was available for Facebook for PlayBook app recently.
