Samsung Galaxy Ace Duos ,Galaxy Y Duos and Galaxy Y Pro Duos launched in India

Samsung has launched range of Dual SIM Android and Dual SIM feature phones in India. The Samsung Galaxy Ace Duos is the Dual SIM version of Galaxy Ace and it is powered by 832MHz processor and runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread. It has Dual SIM Dual Active technology that allows consumers to be available on CDMA and GSM numbers all the time. The Galaxy Y Duos and Y Pro Duos also comes with similar 832MHz processor and runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread. Motorola’s Intel-powered ICS smartphone image surface

Motorola and Intel entered into multi-year partnership last month to use Intel’s Atom chips in it’s Android smartphones. Pocketnow has got hold of a new rendered image of the phone that looks similar to the curved reference design and is said to be powered by Intel’s Medfield processor. MediaTek MT6575 introduces low – mid range Android platform

Semiconductor manufacturer MediaTek announced its 3rd generation platform for low – mid range Android devices. The MT6575 platform offers a 1GHz ARM Cortex-A9 processor, a proven 3G/HSPA modem and runs the latest Android v4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich).

The chipset which will find its way in mid range handsets can decode 720p video streams. Upto 8MP cameras are supported and screen with qHD resolution. In industry-standard benchmark testing, the MT6575 offered over 35% improvement for browser applications and over 20% improvement in graphics capabilities for gaming when compared to other chipsets in the segment offered by competitors.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 with 7-inch display and Android 4.0 announced

Samsung has announced Samsung Galaxy Tab 2, successor of 7-inch Galaxy Tab that was launched in 2010. This is powered by 1GHz dual-core processor and runs Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). It has 7-inch (1024×600) PLS TFT LCD display and has 3MP fixed focus rear-facing camera and VGA camera on the front. It is 10.5mm thick and weighs 344g. LG Optimus 3D 2 to be thinner and lighter, expected at MWC 2012

The LG Optimus 3D 2, successor of the first Optimus 3D would be thinner and lighter according to ETNews. The successor would be just 9.8mm thick that is 2mm thinner than the existing Optimus 3D at 11.9mm. It is also said to weigh 20g lesser than its predecessor. The game is now available for free for entire range of Android phones that runs on Android 2.3 and above. Samsung Galaxy Tab 680 (Galaxy Tab 7.7) now available in India for Rs. 33571

Samsung Galaxy Tab 680 also known as Galaxy Tab 7.7 is now available in India from online retailer Flipkart in India. The 7.7-inch tab was announced last September at at IFA in Berlin and it comes with 7.7 inch Super AMOLED Plus Display and is powered by 1.4GHz Dual Core processor. HTC Sensation phones to get Android 4.0 update starting March 2012, adds more supported devices

HTC has announced that the Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) update to roll out starting end of March 2012 starting with Sensation devices. The first devices to get the update includes, HTC Sensation, HTC Sensation 4G and HTC Sensation XE, followed by the HTC Sensation XL. Foursquare has updated their Android and iPhone apps that brings new Explore feature with cleaner design and offers improved search results. The Foursquare for iPhone has been updated to version 4.2 that also brings improved handling of duplicate venues. The Foursquare for Android gets support for Android Beam that lets you send Venues, Lists and your profile to other Android (Requires Android 4.0 with NFC support) users. Motorola RAZR is now available in India for Rs. 29,990. The phone was launched in India last November for Rs. 33,990.It is just 7.1 mm thick and has KEVLAR fiber at the back. It features 4.3-inch (960 x 540 pixels) Super AMOLED hyper-vibrant display and it is powered by 1.2 GHz dual core processor and runs on Android Gingerbread 2.3.5. HTC unveiled the Sensation XE last September. This Android Smartphone with beats audio now comes in White color, and is on pre-order from Clove UK. LG teases Optimus Vu Android smartphone with 5-inch display and 4:3 aspect ratio

LG has posted a teaser video of their new Android Smartphone, Optimus Vu that would come with a 5-inch display with 4:3 aspect ratio. This would have 1024 x 768 pixels IPS display and powered by 1.5GHz dual-core processor according to Datacider. It would run on Android 2.3 Gingerbread.
