Asus Transformer Pad 300 with Tegra 3 and 10.1-inch IPS display announced


Asus as announced the Asus Transformer Pad 300, affordable Android tablet. It has 10.1-inch (1280×800 pixels) IPS display and is powered by NVIDIA Tegra 3 quad-core processor and runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). It features a 1.2MP front camera for video conferencing and an 8MP rear camera with a large F2.2 aperture. The 5-element lens allows for high quality images along with HD video recording.  It is just 9.9mm thick and weighs 635 grams.

The Transformer Pad 300 Series has 22Whr battery that offers battery life of up to 10 hours, and that is extended up to 15 hours with the optional keyboard dock. It has 1GB RAM, 16GB Internal memory.

It comes in 4G LTE and WiFi variants and in red, white and navy colors. It is priced at $399 and will be available worldwide in Q2 2012.
