We have managed to get hold of a Google Glass Explorer Edition 2013 version and we are bringing you the first ever unboxing of this innovative product in India. Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 with 5.25-inch HD display, 1.5GB RAM, Android 4.3 announced

Samsung has just announced the Galaxy Grand 2, successor of the Galaxy Grand. It has a 5.25-inch (1280 x 720 Pixels) capacitive touch screen display, powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor and runs on Android 4.3 (Jelly Bean). It has a 8-megapixel auto focus camera with LED flash and a 1.9-megapixel HD front-facing camera. It comes with dual-SIM capabilities similar to previous grand and has Samsung’s unique features such as Multi Window, Story Album, S Translator, S Travel, Sound & Shot, Samsung Hub, Group Play, Samsung Link and more. It packs a 2,600 mAh battery that would offer up to 10 hours of video playback and 17 hours of calls. Oppo N1 Unboxing

The Oppo N1 has landed at the FoneArena office today! As expected, we bring you the first look at the device through the unboxing of the gorgeous flagship device from Oppo. The Chinese company had announced this camera-centric flagship device as a part of its N-series smartphones, aptly naming the first one, the N1. While the camera is the most important feature of this phone, there is also the innovative OTouch rear sensor for an experience that you cannot see on any other phone out there in the market. With a 5.9 inch screen, this is the first Oppo device that firmly cements itself in the phablet territory and is unquestionably huge to prove that fact. So, how does it actually look and feel? Google Nexus 5 Unboxing

It’s been exactly 6 days since the Google Nexus 5 officially launched, but it had leaked out in full glory earlier, with complete details of specifications and even the information about its build quality. So, we surely knew what to expect when the Nexus 5 landed in our labs today. The latest “Pure Google” experience phone has launched with absolutely tons of retail stock this time, so acquiring it was certainly an easier job than it was with the Nexus 4 last year. Costing roughly around 29K for the 16 GB unit from the UK, the Nexus 5 is ready for the FoneArena treatment, so, lets start with the unboxing. Our good friend Michael Hell might not be blogging actively here but he still loves gadgets and shiny new phones. He brings us this awesome photo gallery of the just announced Google Nexus 5 made by LG which has gone on sale in several countries including Austria where he managed to get one. The Nexus 5 is coming soon to India as well and even the price has been revealed. The packaging looks pretty similar to the one found on the Nexus 7 2013 which seems like the new design language for the new Nexus lineup. Here we are going to take a look at the wonderful white version of the Nexus 5. There is a black version available as well. It will be available in both 16GB and 32GB capacities. Reliance Communications to introduce iPhone 5c & 5s on 2 year contract, monthly pricing to range from Rs 2,500 to Rs 2,800

While the Apple iPhone 5s and 5c will launch in India tomorrow, we’re also about to see something unprecedented. Reliance Communications is all set to launch the iPhone 5c and 5s in India on contract pricing. The package will include unlimited voice calls, SMS and 3G data for a fixed monthly sum. The pricing will vary from between Rs. 2,500 to Rs. 2,800 per month and the contract duration will be 24 months. Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Review

“Too huge!”, “Impossible to use as a phone!”, “A failed experiment..” they said, and a new category of smartphones was born. Samsung is single handedly responsible for the whole big screen revolution in the smartphone market. After the success of the Note experiment, the Korean Chaebol marched ahead with the Note II, and that turned out to be an even better success story. On that note(pun intended), we are now here with the third iteration that takes things up a notch, not just with respect to its predecessor but also with respect to the company’s other flagship.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 was launched in India just a week ago, with much fanfare and a hefty price tag. Priced at a steep Rs. 49,990, the device has finally landed in the retail market in India and we have swiftly picked up one from nearby. We recently checked out the excellent benchmark scores of the Snapdragon 800 version but the version launched in India sports a Exynos 5 Octa(We’ll be posting benchmarks for this too), and that’s the one we are checking out today. A 5.7 inch 1080p screen, 3GB of RAM, one of the first USB 3.0 interfaces on a phone and a 13 Megapixel camera checks all the spec requirements for a top end flagship device. Nokia Lumia 1020 Unboxing, AT&T Unlocked Version

The Nokia Lumia 1020 just arrived at FoneArena today and guess what, we managed to get hold of a unlocked unit from a US retailer. The device is currently exclusive sold only on AT&T in USA and Nokia is yet to launch the SIM-free/unlocked version in USA or any other market but how can you get one ? Read on to find out. This is indeed the Lumia 1020 for AT&T with the carrier branding but the good thing is it can accept any GSM SIM card, be it T-Mobile, Airtel or Vodafone. This supports LTE on AT&T but would work over 3G, HSPA in many countries including India. The device has evolved from the 808 PureView which was running on Symbian and subsequently the Lumia 920 which was one of the first Windows phones with a PureView camera. Today we have a combination of the best of the imaging from the 808 and 920, improved leaps and bounds, and delivered in the form of the Lumia 1020. The all the new Nexus 7 2013 edition just landed at FoneArena and we thought we will bring you one of the first unboxings from India.The new Nexus 7 is priced at $229 and has gone on sale in the US and is expected to come soon to India but not in the immediate future.Like the previous Nexus 7 , this tablet is also manufactured by Asus for Google and sold by Google directly.The main highlights of the 2013 Nexus 7 are the design including the massive Full HD display and the change from a Nvidia Tegra 3 processor to a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro processor. This Nexus 7 is the first Android device to ship with Android 4.3 JellyBean out of the box which is now also available for several other devices.
