Speaking on the launch, Amelia Ayerst, Dyson CMF Design Manager, said:
Colours, materials and finishes are never an afterthought at Dyson. A single colourway can take months of research, testing and refinement. Each one carries its own character, and with every new shade, there’s a Dyson device that aligns with someone’s unique personal style.
Developing the Ceramic Khaki palette was about more than just introducing new shades; it was about pushing our craft and paying homage to Dyson’s design DNA. Our ultra-satin blue is our boldest blue yet, a nod to Dyson’s commitment to challenging convention and elevating the everyday.
For the khaki green, we wanted a tone that felt timeless, with a depth and subtlety that comes alive when paired with our signature ceramic soft-touch finish. Pairing these colours together created a really interesting multidimensional story; one represents innovation and disruption, and the other timelessness and endurance.
