Xiaomi starts crowdfunding for Mi Truck Builder in India for Rs. 1,199

Last week, Xiaomi announced that it will launch 5 products as a part of its 5th-anniversary celebration in India. Now the company has started crowdfunding for Mi Truck Builder toy in India. It comes with a step-by-step instruction manual making it easier for kids to build the truck. Xiaomi says, according to research, construction based toys help in spatial reasoning, cognitive flexibility, and hand-eye coordination. Xiaomi introduced the Mi Beard Trimmer last week in the country, a product made in India for India. The Mi Beard Trimmer has a quad edge design, features ultra-precise self-sharpening stainless steel blades, and comes with 40 length settings. Xiaomi Mi CC9e with 6-inch FHD+ AMOLED display, triple rear cameras, in-display fingerprint sensor gets certified

After the M1904F3BC, a new Xiaomi smartphone with the model number M1906F9SC has been certified by TENAA in China. This is said to be released as Mi CC9e tomorrow. CC9 wuith a 6.39-inch display got certified last month. The company has also posted image of the CC9 series in Dark and Light blue colors.

POCO F1 Android Q based MIUI testing might start soon

Xiaomi’s sub-brand POCO launched the POCO F1 smartphone in India back in August 2018 running MIUI 9.6 Global Stable on top of Android 8.1 (Oreo). Later in December 2018, the company rolled out Android 9.0 (Pie) based MIUI 10 update for the smartphone. Earlier this month, Xiaomi announced a list of smartphones eligible for Android Q update, POCOPHONE Global Head, Alvin has already confirmed Android Q update for the smartphone. Xiaomi confirms Redmi 6 and Redmi 6A Android Pie update plans

Update 4: June 28, 2019 —  Looks like Xiaomi has changed its mind. After saying that it doesn’t have plans to provide Android Pie update plans few months back, Xiaomi now says that it is looking for testers for global stable ROM for Redmi 6 and Redmi 6A smartphones, since it will end beta updates for all phones from July. However, it is yet to roll out pie update for the Redmi S2/Y2 as it had promised to roll out the update around June.

Xiaomi CC9 and CC9 Meitu custom edition to be announced on July 2 [Update: 32MP front and 48MP rear camera confirmed]

Update: June 25, 2019 — Xiaomi today confirmed that the CC9 will feature a 32-megapixel front camera and a 48-megapixel primary rear camera. It has also shared samples from the front camera and zoomed image from the rear camera with good amount of details.

Xiaomi will not release Mi Max and Mi Note series phones this year

Xiaomi announced Redmi as a separate brand and also appointed Lu Weibing the president for the sub-brand back in January. The company recently launched the Redmi K20 and Redmi K20 Pro under the Redmi sub-brand. Now, the Xiaomi CEO, Lei Jun has announced that the company won’t be releasing Mi Max and Mi Note series phones this year. He also mentions that Mi series represent high-end devices featuring the latest innovations from the company and with the Redmi series, the company aims to offer high-quality products at affordable prices. A new Xiaomi smartphone with the model number M1904F3BC has been certified by TENAA in China. This is said to be released as Mi CC9, and is expected to be launched in collaboration with Meitu that it acquired last year.
