Xiaomi has annnounced its new 20000mAh Mi Power Bank 3 in China with support for maximum 45W (15V-3A) USB Type-C output offering ultra fast charging so that it can even charge MacBooks, Mi Notebook and other laptops with support for USB Type-C PD charging. The power bank can also be charged in just 4.5 hours with a 45W charger.
Xiaomi recently scheduled an event to introduce a new Redmi smartphone with a 48-megapixel rear camera on January 10th. Today the smartphone has been certified by TENAA in China with model numbers M1901F7C, M1901F7T and M1901F7E revealing some specifications and the design. This reveals a 6.3-inch waterdrop notch screen with minimal bezels, rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and a gradient design.
We already know that Samsung is working on its foldable phone, and it was also showcased officially back in November last year. Out of nowhere, now a new video of a foldable smartphone from Xiaomi has surfaced, thanks to @evleaks. It can be folded both the sides, turning the huge tablet-like screen to a small phone-like formfactor. If this is real, this should be the world’s first dual-side foldable phone.

Xiaomi has scheduled an event in China on January 10th to launch a new smartphone. The invite has 4800 written upside down hinting at a 48MP camera phone that was teased by Xiaomi President Lin Bin in an image last month. The image showed a large sensor along with dual LED flash. Another teaser hints at a large sensor and 3x zoom.
Xiaomi has introduced its new Mi Home Projector Lite (Youth Edition) in China. It can project from 40 to 200 inches in 1080p resolution, comes with intelligent voice control and also has HDR10 support. The LED has 30,000 hours of life, so if you use to for two hours every day, it will last for years. Several Xiaomi products have seen price fluctuations in recent months. The company’s Mi LED TV rates were hiked back in November due to depreciation of the rupee, however it recently reduced rates of its smartphone . Today, for the new year the company has reduced the rates of some of its TVs, including the Mi LED TV 4C Pro 32″ and Mi LED TV 4A Pro 49″ that received a price hike couple of months back.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 was amongst the best selling devices launched last year in India, despite launching in 2017 it was launched with Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) and was updated to Android 7.0 (Nougat) in August 2017. Xiaomi India launched the Redmi 5 running MIUI 9 based on Android 7.1 Nougat back in March. Last month it was updated to MIUI 10 Global Stable ROM which was based on Android 7.1 (Nougat) only but the company started rolling out Android 8.1 (Oreo) based MIUI 10 Global Beta ROM towards the end of last month. Update – December 25,2018: Xiaomi has started rolling out Mi A1 Android 9.0 (Pie) stable update for more users widely, including users in India. It has build number PKQ1.180917.001.V10.0.3.0.PDHMIFK, compared to v10.0.2.0 that rolled out earlier this month and is 1069.1MB in size, slightly smaller than the 1074.9MB. It brings December Android security patch. If you haven’t received the update, you can download it from here (or here) and flash it manually. If you have already reveived or flashed v10.0.2.0 update, you will receive a small update to 10.0.3.0 probably to fix bugs.
