Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 with Smart Pen stylus to be announced on August 10

Xiaomi’s Mi Pad 5 has been in the news for quite some time. Today the company has confirmed the launch of the Mi Pad 5 in China along with the Mi MIX 4 on August 10th. The teaser image shows the stylus pen in action and also shows the side profile with a metal frame. This week the Xiaomi Smart Pen with the model number M2107K81PC got  certified by the FCC revealing Bluetooth 5.0 LE support. Xiaomi to introduce Mi MIX 4 on August 10, could feature under-screen camera, Snapdragon 888 Plus, 120W fast charging

Mi TV 4C 32-inch HD Ready Android Smart TV launched in India at an introductory price of Rs. 15999

Xiaomi has launched its new Mi TV 4C smart TV in India. It has a 32-inch HD ready Ultra-bright screen, comes with Vivid Picture Engine (VPE), a set of software and hardware tweaks that ensures accurate screen calibration, deeper contrasts and perfect colour reproduction. Looks like the different between this and the Mi TV 4A Horizon Edition 32″ model that was launched last year are that this has slightly thicker bezels around the screen. RedmiBook e-Learning Edition and RedmiBook Pro with 15.6-inch FHD display, 11th Gen Intel Core i3/i5 launched in India starting at Rs. 41999

Xiaomi’s Redmi brand today launched the RedmiBook Pro and RedmiBook e-Learning Edition, the company’s first laptops in India, as it had promised. The RedmiBook Pro has a 15.6-inch FHD screen, is powered by  11th Generation Intel Core i5 Tiger lake H35 series processor with Intel Iris Xe graphics, 8GB of RAM and 512GB of NVMe SSD. The company says that it has large cooling vents on the bottom. Xiaomi’s Redmi brand launched the Redmi Note 10 smartphone back in March this year in two variants – 4GB RAM with 64GB storage and 6GB RAM with 128GB storage starting at a price of Rs. 11.999. RedmiBook 15 detailed specs surfaces ahead of India launch

RedmiBook laptop launching in India on August 3

Xiaomi’s Redmi brand has confirmed the launch of the first RedmiBook laptop in India on August 3rd. Xiaomi launched its first Mi Notebook laptop, the Mi Notebook 14 in India, back in June last year. Even though the company had filed RedmiBook trademark in India in January 2020, it took over a year for the company to launch a RedmiBook device in the country. Redmi Buds 3 Pro with Bluetooth 5.2, up to 35db active noise cancellation, low latency gaming mode rolling out globally

Xiaomi under its Redmi brand introduced its Redmi AirDots 3 Pro in China back in May. Now it has started rolling out the earbuds globally as Redmi Buds 3 Pro. It has the Bluetooth 5.2, dual-device connectivity and can achieve a low latency of as low as 69ms. It also has active noise cancellation with up to 35dB active noise reduction, thanks to feed-forward and feed-back microphones it can effectively cancel ambient noise and reduce excess noise in the ear canal. Xiaomi just launched the Redmi Note 10T 5G, the company’s first mid-range 5G smartphone in India, as it had promised. It packs a 6.5-inch FHD+ 90Hz DynamicSwitch DotDisplay that is capable of adjusting to content automatically (30Hz/50Hz/60Hz/90Hz), has 91% screen-to-body ratio and a 8MP front camera inside the punch-hole. It is powered by Dimensity 700 SoC with 4GB of RAM, and the company says that it has dual graphite sheets. Xiaomi overtakes Apple to become world’s 2nd largest smartphone vendor in Q2 2021

Canalys has released preliminary worldwide smartphone shipment data for Q2 2021 that reveals that Xiaomi will overtake Apple to become No. 2 leading smartphone brand in terms of shipments globally. The company has achieved a 17% market share with 83% YoY growth. This is the first time it is grabbing the No: 2 spot and is placed behind Samsung which has 19% share. Xiaomi confirms Mi 11 Ultra will finally go on open sale in India from July 15

Xiaomi launched the Mi 11 Ultra, the company’s latest flagship smartphone in India back in April for Rs. 69,999, but it didn’t reveal the sale date at that time. After conducting limited quality sale on July 7th on mi.com, Xiaomi today confirmed that the phone will go on open sale in India starting from July 15th at 12 noon on Amazon.in, mi.com and Mi Home stores and select retail outlets offline. Xiaomi has launched Mi 67W SonicCharge 3.0 Charger along with 6A Type-C cable as a combo in India. The charger is currently supported only for Mi 11 Ultra, which comes with 55W charger in the box. This can charge the phone’s 5000mAh battery from 0 to 100% in 36 minutes which is faster than other 65W chargers that OPPO, OnePlus and realme provide.
