In early 2020, Xiaomi announced an aggressive roadmap for its Mi line up of smartphones. Taking this plan to reality, the company launched the Mi 10 series smartphones last year. Xiaomi CyberDog bio-inspired quadruped robot with centimeter-scale obstacle avoidance and navigation announced

During an event yesterday where Xiaomi unveiled the Mi MIX 4 smartphone and Mi Pad 5 tablets, the company introduced a surprising new product -bio-inspired quadruped robot called CyberDog. It is designed to be an open source robot companion, with advanced movement and object avoidance systems, high-precision sensors and more.

Xiaomi Sound Smart Speaker with 360° omnidirectional sound, Bluetooth 5.2, UWB support announced

At its Mi MIX 4 launch event, Xiaomi also introduced Xiaomi Sound, the company’s top-end smart speaker. It has a tank-shaped body with transparent elements and a floating touch top cover that offers 360° omnidirectional sound. It has a built-in 2.25 inch neodymium iron boron dual magnetic circuit 12W full 12W frequency unit, equipped with a 54x44mm dual suspension passive radiator, which can reach a maximum sound pressure of 90dB. Xiaomi introduces Mi TV Lux 77″ 4K OLED 120Hz TV with 70W speakers, Dolby Atmos, Mi TV 6 55″ and 65″ 4K OLED TVs

Along with the Mi MIX 4 and the Mi Pad 5 series, Xiaomi also introduced its 2nd generation Mi TV Master / Lux series TV with a 77-inch 4K OLED screen with ultra narrow bezels, 96.2% ultra-high screen-to-body ratio,
and it uses the latest generation of V21 panel, which claims to offer peak brightness of up to 1,000 nits. It supports, Dolby Vision, Dolby Vision IQ, HDR10+, HDR10 and HLG, and also has IMAX Enhanced certification. It also supports BT.709, DCI-P3, Adobe RGB, BT.2020 four-channel color gamut, has 10-bit and Delta E 1.5. Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 and Mi Pad 5 Pro with 11-inch 2.5K 120Hz display, Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos, Snapdragon 860 / 870 announced

Along with the Mi MIX 4, Xiaomi also introduced the Mi Pad 5 series that includes the Mi Pad 5 and the Mi Pad 5 Pro, as it had promised. Both these feature an 11-inch 2.5K / WQXA LCD screen with 120Hz refresh rate, Dolby Vision and HDR10 and Dolby Atmos. These have 6.86mm sleek body. The Mi Pad 5 is powered by Snapdragon 860 with 27067² cooling area and the Pro version is powered by Snapdragon 870 SoC with 22745mm² cooling area. Xiaomi MIX 4 with 6.67-inch FHD+ 120Hz AMOLED display, under-screen camera, Snapdragon 888+,120W fast charging announced

Xiaomi just announced the MIX 4 the company’s latest smartphones in the MIX series in China, as it had announced. It features a 6.67’-inch AMOLED 3D curved display with 10-bit TrueColor, 120Hz refresh rate and 480Hz touch sampling rate. The main highlight of the phone is its under display camera technology that offers a 400 ppi seamless viewing in the camera zone, matching the pixel density, brightness, and color detail of the surrounding screen. Redmi 10 with 6.5-inch FHD+ 90Hz display, Helio G88, 50MP quad rear cameras, 5000mAh battery surfaces ahead of launch

It has been a year since the launch of Redmi 9 smartphone, now the Redmi 10 smartphone has surfaced in Singapore, thanks to an early listing by an online retailer. This reveals the complete specifications of the phone and the images. The design looks similar to the POCO X3 GT and the Mi 10 Ultra. This reveals a FHD+ 45, 60 and 90Hz adaptive refresh rate screen, MediaTek Helio G88 SoC and a 50MP rear camera, a major upgrade compared to the Redmi 9. Xiaomi’s Redmi launched the Redmi 8A Dual, an updated version of Redmi 8A with Dual Cameras, and a new Aura X Grip design in the country last month, running MIUI 11.0 Global Stable on top of Android 9.0 (Pie). Xiaomi doesn’t follow any fixed update frequency for the MIUI Global Stable ROM but on average, the Global Stable ROM is updated once in a month. Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 with Smart Pen stylus to be announced on August 10

Xiaomi’s Mi Pad 5 has been in the news for quite some time. Today the company has confirmed the launch of the Mi Pad 5 in China along with the Mi MIX 4 on August 10th. The teaser image shows the stylus pen in action and also shows the side profile with a metal frame. Xiaomi has launched its new Mi TV 4C smart TV in India. It has a 32-inch HD ready Ultra-bright screen, comes with Vivid Picture Engine (VPE), a set of software and hardware tweaks that ensures accurate screen calibration, deeper contrasts and perfect colour reproduction. Looks like the different between this and the Mi TV 4A Horizon Edition 32″ model that was launched last year are that this has slightly thicker bezels around the screen. Xiaomi’s Redmi brand today launched the RedmiBook Pro and RedmiBook e-Learning Edition, the company’s first laptops in India, as it had promised. The RedmiBook Pro has a 15.6-inch FHD screen, is powered by 11th Generation Intel Core i5 Tiger lake H35 series processor with Intel Iris Xe graphics, 8GB of RAM and 512GB of NVMe SSD. The company says that it has large cooling vents on the bottom.
