Redmi Note 8 Pro MIUI Software Update Tracker [MIUI 12.5 based on Android 11 rolling out in India widely]

Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 8 Pro smartphone in India running MIUI 10.4 Global Stable on top of Android 9.0 (Pie). The smartphone has already received Android 10 based MIUI 12 Stable update in various regions including India.

Redmi 10 Prime Unboxing and First Impressions

Redmi today launched the Redmi 10 Prime, the company’s latest budget smartphone in the Prime series, as the successor to last year’s Redmi 9 Prime. This has a large 6.5-inch FHD+ 90Hz refresh rate adaptive display, is the first phone to be powered by MediaTek Helio G88 and packs a huge 6000mAh battery. Redmi Earbuds 3 Pro with Bluetooth 5.2, aptX Adaptive, Dual Drivers, up to 30h total battery life launched in India for Rs. 2999

Along with the Redmi 10 Prime, Redmi also launched the Redmi Earbuds 3 Pro, the company’s latest TWS earbuds in India, as it had announced. Redmi 10 Prime with 6.5-inch FHD+ 90Hz display, Helio G88, 50MP quad rear cameras, 6000mAh battery launched in India starting at Rs. 12499

Redmi just launched the Redmi 10 Prime, the company’s latest smartphone in the Redmi series as the successor to last year Redmi 9 Prime in India, as it had promised. It has a 6.5-inch Full HD+ LCD screen with AdaptiveSync 90Hz (45/60/90Hz) refresh rate, Reading mode 3.0, and it is the first phone to be powered by MediaTek Helio G88 SoC. It comes with up to 6GB of RAM with up to 2GB of memory expansion. The phone has a 50MP rear camera, a first of its kind in its category, accompanied by 8MP ultra-wide camera, 2MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth sensor. Mi Notebook Ultra Review: Ultra value!

When Xiaomi entered the Indian laptop market last year, they made quite a splash with the Mi Notebook 14 and Mi Notebook 14 Horizon Edition. It was well received by the market for its clean design and great value for money. This time around, Xiaomi looks to repeat that success with the Mi Notebook Ultra and Mi Notebook Pro. They both come with 11th Gen Intel Core CPUs, either a Core i5 or a Core i7, and feature some noticeable upgrades over last year’s models. Xiaomi introduced the MIUI 12.5, the next intermediate MIUI update with a strong focus on system optimizations in China back in December, and the Global roll-out started in Q2 2021, and it continues to roll out to more devices. Today Xiaomi has announced the MIUI 12.5 Enhanced that brings further system optimizations promising a swifter and a lower power consumption experience. Redmi Note 10 gets fourth price hike in India, now starts at Rs. 13999

Xiaomi’s Redmi brand launched the Redmi Note 10 smartphone back in March this year in two variants – 4GB RAM with 64GB storage and 6GB RAM with 128GB storage starting at a price of Rs. 11.999. In less than a month of third price hike, the company has increased the price of the phone once again by Rs. 500. It now starts at Rs. 13,999 for the base 4GB + 64GB version, so the total price hike since the launch is Rs. 2000. Xiaomi posts 84.4% YoY increase in profits in Q2 2021, acquires self-driving startup Deepmotion for $77.3 million

Xiaomi has reported its earning for the second quarter (Q2 2021) that ended June 30, 2021. It reported revenue of 87.8 billion yuan (US$ 13.56 billion), an increase of 64% compared to Q2 2020. Net profit for the quarter was approximately 6.3 billion yuan (US$1.28 billion), up 87.4% YoY. The company said that the total revenue and adjusted net profit both reached record highs in the quarter, demonstrating the excellence of the business model and the robustness of its operations.
