Google announced the Nexus 10, their first 10-inch Android tablet at the end of October, and we unboxed it earlier. ASUS manufactured the Nexus 7, but Google has partnered with Samsung for the Nexus 10, known for its popular range of Galaxy Tabs. White Nexus 4 spotted in the wild

Remember the White Galaxy Nexus that went official last year, months after the release of the Black version? Now, images of the White Nexus 4 has surfaced online. The phone looks gorgeous. It has a black bezel around the display with white finish on the sides and the back, similar to the white Galaxy Nexus. The Nexus and LG branding are in black, in contrast to the black version. Google has released Chrome Beta channel for Android phones and Tablets. This would let Android users try out upcoming features and also provide feedback. Google reveals YouTube Capture app for the iPhone, iPod Touch

Google just launched a dedicated YouTube camera application for iOS users. Called YouTube Capture, the app lets you record and instantly share a video clip to YouTube right from within its interface. The video can also be shared on a range of mobile networks straight from the app itself.

Google pulls support for Exchange ActiveSync as part of winter cleaning

Google has announced its plans to do a bit of ‘Winter Cleaning‘ and as a part of it, the company will stop supporting Exchange ActiveSync for Gmail, Contacts and Calendar. Access will only be provided via IMAP, CalDAV and CardDAC which means that legacy devices such as Symbian phones  will no longer be able to connect to Google’s services.

Google has no plans to build Windows 8, WP8 apps

Hoping to use an official Gmail or Youtube app on your brand new Windows Phone device ? You might be out of luck as the company is not too keen on bringing its products to Microsoft’s mobile offering.

Google Maps is back on the iPhone as a Downloadable App on the AppStore

Google Maps is finally back on the iPhone after it was removed in Apple iOS 6, it is the now back as a downloadable app on the Apple AppStore. Google Maps for the first time comes with Turn-by-Turn voice guided navigation on the iPhone.There is the much popular Street View mode too !

Google Nexus 10 Unboxing

The Nexus program from Google has been transforming from a developer focused one to a completely consumer focused one. The message is very clear, Google wants to use its services(Google Play) and the best possible way to use them is by buying their Nexus devices. Starting from the Nexus One, the program has seen many phones, till the Nexus 4(See our unboxing here) a 7 inch tablet made by ASUS, the Nexus 7, but we never got to see a 10 inch one. But then, amidst “Sandy”, Google launched the first 10 inch Nexus device – The Google Nexus 10, made by Samsung. And yes, we have got it in our hands already, after a terrible launch delay. What’s new in Android 4.2 Jelly Bean

Google Nexus 4 Unboxing

The Nexus 4 is a mobile phone collaboration between Google and LG and was launched worldwide last week. Thanks to its incredible specifications and low price point, the handset sold out within minutes, and is now one of the most sought-after pieces of mobile tech, with phones currently changing hands for twice their original purchase price on auction sites. We managed to get our hands on one, and we’re going to inflict the usual unboxing treatment on it for your viewing pleasure.

Google Nexus 4 Pictures

LG and Google unveiled the Nexus 4,new Smartphone in the Nexus family at the end of October. It has a 4.7-inch (1280 × 768 pixels) display with 320 ppi and corning Gorilla Glass 2 protection, 1.5 GHz quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro processor with Adreno 320 GPU and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). The Nexus 4 is priced at $299 for the 8GB version and the 16GB version comes at a price tag of $349. It is expected to go on sale from November 13 in the US, UK, Canada, Germany, France, Spain and Australia. Google Nexus 7 launching in India at Rs. 19,999


Asus announced few months back that the Nexus 7 would be available in India in November. Asus has now confirmed to us that the Nexus 7 would go sale in India from tomorrow at an MRP of Rs. 19,999. Google announced the Nexus 7, their first Android tablet with Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) in June at Google I/O for $199. Google unveiled the 32GB and a 3G variants of the Nexus 7 few weeks back. Google Nexus 10 announced with 2,560 x 1,600 resolution screen

Hot on the heels of its Nexus 4 announcement and unveiling the updated Nexus 7, Google also announced its entry in the 10″ tablet segment with the Samsung manufactured Nexus 10. The tablet packs an extremely high resolution screen with the 2,560 x 1,600 pixels packed into the 10″ panel resulting in a ppi of 300. The tablet is rated at 9 hours of continuous video playback while standby time is stated as 500 hours thanks to its 9000 mAh battery.
