Asus and Google launch the new Nexus 7 in India officially
The new Nexus 7 (2013) manufactured by Asus went on sale on the Play Store in India last month along with the Nexus 5. Now the company has officially launched the latest Nexus 7 tablet in India. It has a 7-inch 16:10 Full HD (1920 x 1200 WUXGA) display with 10-finger multi-touch, powered by a Quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro (APQ8064-1AA, with Krait 300 cores) processor clocked at 1.5GHz and runs on Android 4.3 (Jelly Bean), which already got the KitKat update. Google Nexus 7 (2013) WiFi and LTE variants go on sale in India on Play Store
After a very long wait, Google has finally started selling the 2013 edition Nexus 7 tablets in India. The tablets have been priced rather competitively and start at just Rs. 20,999 for the 16GB variant. The 32GB WiFi only model will be available for Rs. 23,999 while stepping up to the LTE variant will bump up costs to Rs. 27,999. Shipping estimates suggest that the tablet would leave the warehouse by 26th November and we’re expecting supplies to be a bit limited initially. Google Nexus 7 2013 32GB LTE Version priced at Rs.25999, coming soon to India
Google seems to be taking India seriously finally regarding launching new devices. The Nexus 5 which went on sale in the US recently is listed on the Google India Play Store as coming soon with even a price tag. Now the Nexus 7 2013 edition seems to have gotten a price on the microsite for the product which was spotted by BGR India . Interestingly only the 4G LTE / Cellular version of the Nexus 7 2013 has gotten a Indian price, the WiFi versions have not got a price yet. The 32GB 4G LTE version which will work over our 3G/HSPA+ networks too is expected to be launched at Rs.25999. The tablet is sold in the US for a price of 349 USD which works out to roughly about Rs.23000 including taxes, so it seems like a fairly decent price for the tablet India if you factor the import duty and shipping costs.

Google Nexus 7 2013 LTE Version Unboxing
I was in Berlin, Germany for IFA 2013 last week and managed to pick an LTE version of the Nexus 7 2013 which is currently on sale only in a few countries including Germany and UK. We had already unboxed the WiFi only version previous on FoneArena and like always we are always excited about any device with a SIM card slot and here we have the unboxing of the Nexus 7 2013 LTE version.
