Google to come out with a fix for the Galaxy Nexus Volume bug

We have been hearing about the Galaxy Nexus volume bug from the the day it was launched in U.K. It has been covered by every blog and news portal out there, and the users have been reporting and are unhappy about it. There have also been reports that this bug has something to do with 2G and happens only when 2G is kept on. Many people also thought that this was a hardware bug and the device has to be replaced, but now Google has finally acknowledged and responded to this volume bug.

Samsung Illusion for Verizon leaked specs emerge

The detailed specs of Samsung Illusion has leaked out from the Verizon Infocenter and the guys from the androidcentral has got hold of the specs page. This is expected to be entry-level handset that looks like Nexus S with the capacitive touch buttons, rounded edges and a textured back, but comes with a SD card slot and Samsung TouchWiz UI. Samsung GALAXY Tab 7.0 Plus coming to T-Mobile on November 16 for $249.99

T-Mobile USA has announced that the Samsung GALAXY Tab 7.0 Plus would be available from November 16. This is their third tablet to support HSPA+ connectivity after the 7-inch Springboard and the Samsung GALAXY Tab 10.1. The Samsung GALAXY Tab 7.0 Plus has 7-inch WSVGA(1024X600) PLS LCD multitouch display. It is powered by 1.2GHz dual-core processor runs on Android 3.2 (Honeycomb) OS. It is 9.96mm thin and weighs 345g. More than half the smartphones sold in Asia are running Android

Antitrust claim against Samsung dismissed by US court

After a bad week in court, Samsung hears some dandy news. While Apple claimed “Samsung misrepresented its intent to license certain patents on fair terms”, federal judge Lucy Koh in California has disregarded some of Apple’s antitrust claims against Samsung. Nevertheless, Apple can still reform it by revising their complaint.
