Samsung Electronics has just made an announcement that it’s investing USD 70 million in the Noida mobile manufacturing facility. Seems like India is one of the top 3 mobile markets for Samsung globally.This facility in Noida is Samsung’s 6th manufacturing unit outside Korea and employs over 4000 people. This facility in Noida is also capable of handling TVs , Refrigerators , ACs and Washing Machines in addition to mobile phones. US network AT&T has announced three new Windows Phone 7 Mango smartphones, the Samsung Focus S, Samsung Focus Flash and the already announced HTC Titan.
The Samsung Focus S will feature a 4.3″ Super AMOLED Plus screen, the same one that can be found on their current Android flagship, the Samsung Galaxy S II. Like the Galaxy S II, it will have a very thin body – measuring just 8.5mm, the same thickness of the Galaxy S II at its thinnest point. The Focus Flash on the other hand will have a smaller 3.7″ Super AMOLED screen. Both of these smartphones will have a 1.4 GHz processor of the single core variety.
Not much is known for either devices though we do know that the Focus S will have a 8MP rear camera and 1.3MP front facing camera. The Focus Flash will have a 5MP rear camera and front facing camera with unspecified resolution.
No pricing has been released, though they are expected to arrive on the fourth quarter of this year. It is unknown if Samsung plans to release these phones worldwide.
Samsung’s twitter account has let out the news that Bada 2.0 will be rolled out to all Samsung Wave devices including the low end Wave 525 , 523 models. The new version of Bada will be available starting Quarter 4 in Europe.

Apple has been behind companies manufacturing Android devices from a long time, they have sued every manufacturer having Android devices in their portfolio. Just last month Apple had filed an Injunction against the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 which was valid only in Germany, today the Dusseldorf court has said that the Galaxy Tab 10.1 does infringe some of Apple’s patents.

Samsung labs have just released a new launcher app for Android based phones. Called ‘Pure Breeze’ the app replaces the default homescreen and allows users to organize their apps, groups, and tasks, and create shortcuts.
