Apple has added an “In App Purchases” warning to apps in the iTunes App Store that contain such options. The move should serve well to let users know of prospective in app purchases in a single glance. The warning is currently noticeable only in the desktop version of the App Store but it is logical to assume that Apple will roll it out across their mobile platforms as well.

HTC One Unboxing

If there is a fading brand in the world of smart phones, especially in the Android space, it would be HTC. We have been hearing a lot about how HTC has supposedly been falling in the past couple of years. Their HTC One X and series of devices were considered an initiative for a turn around in 2012, and the same mantra is now being applied for the HTC One, their newest 2013 flagship device that launched just before the Mobile World Congress. This flagship from HTC is one of their most interesting efforts. You can see the fruits in every department including design, build, hardware, and definitely the camera. We have had some hands on experience of the One at the Mobile World Congress, but we now have it in our labs. And as a precursor, we start with the ritualistic unboxing of the device.

Google Nexus 7 dock hands on

Gionee Dream D1 Hands On Video
Gionee is one of the newest entrants into India’s fairly crowded mid-range Android smartphone space. We’ve got our hands on their brand new product, the Gionee Dream D1. The phone brings an interesting mix of fairly high end specifications at a decidedly low price point.
The phone combines a 4.65inch 720p Super AMOLED display with a Mediatek Quad Core processor running at 1.2Ghz to provide quite an excellent multimedia experience. While it is early to call it the best, we’d say this is one of the better displays we have seen on a mid range smartphone. Continue reading “Gionee Dream D1 Hands On Video”
