Gionee, popular Chinese mobile device design company has launched Gionee Dream D1, the company’s new Android Smartphone in India. It has a 4.65-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) Super AMOLED Plus display at 316 ppi, powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Cortex A7 processor and runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). It packs a 8MP auto focus rear camera with LED flash, Auto panorama (99 pictures in one click), 720p HD video recording and a 1MP front-facing camera.

It has dual SIM support with dual standby and is just 8.6 mm thick. It has in-built Digital Theatre System (DTS) Sound for enhanced multimedia audio experience and has OTA (Over the Air) function to get the latest Operating System easily.
