Samsung released the Galaxy Grand Duos (GT-I9082) in India back in January. It was released in Elegant White and Metallic Blue colors initially. Now Samsung has released the Grand Duos in two new colors, Luxury Brown and Wine Red. The Indian smartphone market has recently been seeing an influx of a lot of devices which are big on the screen and specs, while at the same time small on the budget, catering to the exact demand of the market since the introduction of the Samsung Galaxy Note. The phablet, as the term goes, means a device is bigger than a phone but smaller than the tablet, fitting right in the middle. This is purely a notion marketed by Samsung with the Galaxy Note, and it has caught up like wildfire among the various entrants in the Indian Smartphone market.

Samsung released the Galaxy Grand Duos in India back in January. We brought you the Galaxy Grand Duos photo gallery earlier today, here we have the benchmarks of the device. The device is powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core Broadcom BCM28155 processor based on ARM Cortex-A9 and VideoCore 4 GPU. It has a 5-inch (800 x 480 pixels) capacitive touch screen display at 186 ppi pixel density. It runs on Android 4.1.2 (Jelly Bean).
