NTT Docomo is all set to announce their winter product line-up on the 10 October. Sony Xperia Z1 f  (SO-02F) / Honami mini , a mid-range phone surfaced recently, which is also expected to be headed to NTT Docomo in Japan. Now the Samsung Galaxy J (SC-02F) , a high-end smartphone has leaked by a Korean blog. Samsung released the Galaxy S4 LTE-A for Korea back in June with a Snapdragon 800 chip, the Galaxy J is also rumored to come with a similar chip. BlackBerry announces Cloud-based mobility management solution for Android, iOS and BlackBerry devices

BlackBerry has announced multi-platform cloud-based enterprise mobility management (EMM) solution to manage users and apps on Android, iOS and BlackBerry. Announced at the Gartner Symposium ITxpo 2013, this is aimed at both business and end user needs. This doesn’t require any IT experience, servers, or software, says BlackBerry. The company already launched BlackBerry Mobile Fusion, multi-platform Mobile Device Management (MDM) for BlackBerry , Android and iOS devices, and recently released BlackBerry Enterprise Service 10 Version 10.1 for Business users. Sony Xperia Z1 Benchmarks

Xperia Z1 Benchmarks

Sony launched the Xperia Z1, their latest flagship Android phone with a 5-inch 1080p display and a Snapdragon 800 processor in India recently. We brought you the unboxing of the device recently. Here we have the benchmarks of the device. The device is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 800 (MSM8974) 28nm HPm quad-core Krait 400 CPU clocked at 2.2 GHz and Adreno 330 GPU. As you can see on the image above CPU-Z says that it is clocked at 2.15 GHz. The Xperia Z Ultra was also powered by the same chip. Let’s find out how it compares with other high-end devices in various synthetic benchmark tests.

Micromax launched the Canvas Tab P650, the company’s first tablet in the Canvas series last month. We brought you the unboxing last week, here we have the complete review of the tablet. This is one of the first Android tablet to feature a 4:3 display. This is also the first tablet from Micromax to pack a 1.2 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT8389 processor. The tablet runs on Android 4.2.1 (Jelly Bean), similar to the Canvas 4 and the Canvas Doodle 2, the company’s latest flagship devices. Is the tablet worth the price ? Let’s find it out in the review. Xolo Q700i with 4.5-inch display, 8MP camera coming soon for Rs. 11999

Xolo launched the Q700, the company’s second smartphone in the Q CORE series back in May. We reviewed it in June, now the Q700i, an upgraded version of the Q700 has been listed on Flipkart. The Q700i has almost similar features including a 4.5-inch qHD (960 x 540 pixels) 16M color capacitive touch screen IPS display based on one-glass solution (OGS) technology,  1.2 GHz quad-core processor and Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). It comes with dual SIM support with dual standby and packs a 2400 mAh battery. Only the front and rear cameras have been updated. After all the hype surrounding the golden iPhone , we are always on the look out for golden phones.If you have been following us closely , you must have read about the Samsung Galaxy Golden  which was launched in South Korea back in August. It is an interesting flip phone running Android and features dual 3.7 inch WVGA AMOLED displays , one on the inside and one on the outside.  The phone goes by the model number SHV-E400S in case you are planning to get your hands on one. Sadly no video but we have plenty of photos of the phone and the retail box for your viewing pleasure.

LG begins mass production of 6-inch flexible OLED smartphone display

LG Display, the display arm of LG Electronics has announced that they have started mass producing the world’s first flexible OLED display for smartphones. This comes after a report that LG is working on the G Flex smartphone with a curved OLED display. LG did not reveal the display resolution of the panel but it said that the display size would be 6 inches. It says that the this would be the world’s slimmest display among existing mobile device panels and would weigh just 7.2 grams. NEC Medias W Dual Screen Android Phone Unboxing

You might have seen us getting intrigued by the NEC Medias W Android Phone at the Mobile World Congress earlier this year, but we have finally got it with us, in our hands, the wacky yet innovative dual screened Android Phone. The two 4.3″ qHD screens are definitely the unique selling point of the Medias W. It presents really interesting opportunities and even future-looking ideas for a better implementation. Not to say this is bad, but it is really intriguing for a v1.0. We had gotten hold of a retail unit of this unlocked phone that sells only in Japan with a carrier tie-up(NTT Docomo) for 100 Mbps LTE.The device has the model number N-05E.The box contents are bare, but take a look at the device in action in the video below –

Videocon Telecom plans to bid for 900 MHz specturm for Delhi in 2014 auction

Videocon Telecom, the telecommunication arm of the Videocon group has announced that they have planned to participate in the upcoming spectrum Auction and bid for the 900 MHz license for Delhi. The company rolled their services in 3 out of 6 circles they acquired in November 2012 auction, after it lost its license in 21 circles after high court order. The company has improved its network presence in the four operating circles including Punjab and  plans to roll out the services in remaining 3 circles within the next 12 months.
