Videocon Telecommunications plans launch its 4G services using FDD-LTE technology by December 2014, according to a report by ETTelecom. It would initially launch the services in Gujarat, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. At the 4G World India conference, Videocon Telecom CEO Arvind Bali said to ETTelecom that it plans to launch the services between December to January and would launch it in 10 towns initially.

Videocon Telecom has introduced a new tariff voucher that reduces outgoing roaming call rates by 50 percent. This pack lets customers make local calls at 50 paise per minute and STD calls at 75 paise per minute while roaming across India. Videocon was the first operator in India to make incoming calls free while on roaming on their own network, without any processing fee or a special tariff voucher. Videocon Telecom, the telecommunication arm of the Videocon group has announced that they have planned to participate in the upcoming spectrum Auction and bid for the 900 MHz license for Delhi. The company rolled their services in 3 out of 6 circles they acquired in November 2012 auction, after it lost its license in 21 circles after high court order. The company has improved its network presence in the four operating circles including Punjab and plans to roll out the services in remaining 3 circles within the next 12 months.
