Back in July 2014 Facebook introduced Mentions, a new app for iOS for celebrities and public figures with verified profiles to talk to their followers. Later it was expanded to India and 40 other countries. Now it has launched the app for Android. The app has Live stream feature so that musicians, athletes, actors, journalists and other celebrities can share live video with their fans. Manu Kumar Jain, Head of Mi India earlier today tweeted a teaser with the caption Mi Generation T-24 hours to lift off and said “An exciting announcement will happen tomorrow. Always believe something wonderful is about to happen”. This doesn’t give us any hints about what the company is planning to announce, except that it could be a next-generation device. Twitter for iOS now lets you watch live Periscope broadcasts directly within Tweets

Twitter has updated the iOS app to version 6.44 that now lets you watch Periscope broadcasts live, within the tweets. When there is a Tweet with a link for a Periscope broadcast, it will autoplay right within the Tweet. When you tap the video, it goes full-screen and shows Periscope comments and hearts from other viewers. It doesn’t require you to install Periscope app or even a Periscope account to watch the broadcasts on Twitter. Today it has released the first version of Remix OS 2.0, as it had promised. ZTE has introduced (Via) Blade D Lux, the company’s latest ‘Blade series’ smartphone in Vietnam and Singapore. It packs a 5.5-inch HD screen, is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 410 64-bit processor, runs on Android 5.0 (Lollipop), has a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 8-megapixel rear camera that also has LED flash for capturing better images even in low lighting conditions.
