Nokia 8 Sirocco Android 9.0 (Pie) update finally starts rolling out


After releasing Android 9.0 (Pie) update last month for the Nokia 8 smartphone, HMD Global has finally started rolling out stable update for the Nokia 8 Sirocco. The company initially promised to roll out the update for the phone in November last year, but it got delayed.

Android P includes Adaptive Battery that uses machine learning to prioritize system resources for the apps, App Actions that helps you raise the visibility of your app and help drive engagement using machine learning, and Slices are a new way to surface rich, templated content in places like Google Search and Assistant.

The v4.120 update is 1379.5MB in size and also includes Android security patch for December, 2018.
