Airtel launches 4G LTE services in Sambalpur

Airtel has launched its 4G LTE services in Sambalpur in Orissa, after it launched it in Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Rourkela, Balasore and Brahmapur. Airtel launched 4G services in 296 towns across India in August. Airtel 4G is available to customers across mobile phones, dongles, 4G hotspots and Wi-Fi dongles in the city. Vodafone India to roll out 4G services in Kerala by December 2015

Vodafone already announced that it will launch 4G services in India by December 2015. It also said that Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Bengaluru and Kochi circles will get 4G first. Today the operator has announced that it will roll out 4G services in Kerala by December 2015. It also said that Kochi, Trivandrum and Kozhikode will be in the first wave of the 4G roll-out, which will be launched across the circle in a phased manner. Huawei introduced its first Honor smart band called Honor Zero back in July, today the company has launched it in India as Honor Band Z1. It looks like a smartwatch, shows time and has a 1.06 inch (128 x 128 pixels) OLED display. It has brushed metal bezel around the dial and doesn’t have any physical buttons. It works with both Android and iOS devices, will show message notifications and incoming call alerts. You can also mute incoming calls easily. It is also water and dust proof with IP68 certification. It has pedometer and tracks your steps, calories burnt and other activities. Huawei Honor 7 launched in India for Rs. 22999

Huawei introduced the Honor 7 smartphone in China back in July, and the international version of the smartphone was launched in Europe in August. Today the company has launched the Honor 7 in India. It packs a 5-inch 1080p display, is powered by a Octa-Core HiSilicon Kirin 935 SoC based on big.LITTLE configuration and runs on Android 5.0 (Lollipop) with Emotion UI 3.1 on top. The company has promised to roll out Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) update for the smartphone in beta in January and stable update will arrive in February 2016. It has a 20-megapixel rear camera with Sony sensor, LED flash, Phase Detection Auto Focus that would let you focus a subject in just 0.1 second and a 8-megapixel front-facing camera with LED flash for capturing better selfies even in poor lighting conditions.

Google started rolling out Android 6.0 update for Nexus devices starting from yesterday. HTC and Motorola already promised to offer Android Marshmallow update for some of its devices. Sony Mobile just confirmed Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) update for a range of smartphones. It doesn’t mention the Xperia Z and Z1 range, but the company says that it has been working hard to bring the major update to as many of the devices as possible, so we can expect more devices to be added in the future.
