Philips OneChef all-in-one smart cooking appliance launched in India


Philips Home Appliances has announced the release of the Philips OneChef, a new all-in-one smart cooking appliance aimed at the Indian market. The product is designed to consolidate various cooking methods into a single unit to streamline domestic kitchen operations.

The product was officially unveiled in Mumbai during a “Chef’s Tasting Table” event curated by chef Ranveer Brar. The event included live tastings and interactive food stations to showcase diverse regional flavors. During the presentation, Brar and Mr. Gulbahar Taurani, MD & CEO of Versuni India, demonstrated the appliance’s capabilities in preparing traditional Indian recipes using modern automated technology.

The event concluded with a panel discussion focusing on kitchen innovation and the integration of intelligent appliances in modern households.

Key Features and Technology

The Philips OneChef integrates 33 smart cooking functions, allowing users to perform various culinary techniques within a single compact appliance. Supported cooking methods include:

  • Air frying
  • Stir frying
  • Steaming
  • Boiling

The appliance operates using proprietary AmbiHeat™ technology, which utilizes intelligent temperature sensing and uniform heating mechanisms. This system is engineered to adapt to different types of dishes and stages of cooking to maintain consistent temperature control.

By combining these functions, the OneChef is intended to reduce the need for multiple individual kitchen appliances while offering guided cooking programs to assist users in recreating specific recipes.

Pricing and Availability

The Philips OneChef is priced at Rs. 19,995 and will be available for purchase starting March 19th across major electronic retail stores and e-commerce platforms, including Croma, Reliance Digital, Vijay Sales, Amazon, and Flipkart.
