Earlier this month at the Future Unleashed 2015 event in Mumbai, Microsoft announced that it will launch the Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL smartphones in India in December 2015. Now it has scheduled an event on November 30th to introduce these new smartphones. At the Future Unleashed 2015 event in Mumbai today, Microsoft announced that it will launch the Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL smartphones in India in December 2015. Both these smartphones were announced at an event in New York City last month and pack QHD AMOLED ClearBlack displays, run Windows 10, come with USB Type-C port, 20-megapixel autofocus rear camera with ZEISS optics, with 5th Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), triple LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. Microsoft has announced Lumia 950, the company’s latest smartphone at an event today in the New York City. It packs a 5.2-inch (1440×2560 pixels) AMOLED display, is powered by an hexa-core Snapdragon 808 processor and runs on Windows 10. It packs a 20-megapixel autofocus rear camera with ZEISS optics, with 5th Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), triple LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. There is also Lumia 950 Dual SIM, which is a dual SIM variant of the smartphone.
Microsoft Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL smartphones were briefly listed on official Microsoft Store (Via) in the UK before it was removed. This confirms the name of upcoming high-end smartphones. The listing also confirms 5.2-inch and 5.7 Quad HD (1440×2560 pixels) displays for the phones, 20-megapixel rear camera with ZEISS optics, 32GB of internal storage with expandable memory up to 2TB with microSD and Windows 10.
