Samsung Galaxy Note price drops to Rs. 29990


Samsung has cut the price of the Galaxy Note, that is now available from official Samsung eStore for Rs. 29,990 in India. The Samsung Galaxy S3 got a price cut last week, but compared to that this Note 2’s price cut is not huge, since the Note was launched in India at Rs. 34,990 (MRP) last November. Asus to announce PadFone 2 in October

Asus has started sending out invitations for the launch event of the PadFone 2, successor of the PadFone. It is scheduled for October 16th that would take place simultaneously in Milan and Taipei. The AnTuTu benchmarks of the PadFone 2 have been reportedly leaked that reveals that the PadFone 2 would be powered by a 1.5 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 APQ8064 processor with Adreno 320 GPU and come with a 2GB of RAM. Sony Xperia SL now available in India for Rs. 30999


Sony Xperia SL is now available from online retailers Flipkart and Infibeam in India. It appeared on Sony Website last month and looks similar to the Sony Xperia S but it powered by a faster 1.7 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S3 processor and comes with Android 4.0 out of the box. ZTE Blade III that was leaked last month is now official. It packs in a 4-inch (800×480 pixels) 262K TFT Capacitive Touch Screen display and is powered by a 1GHz single-core Qualcomm MSM 7227 A processor. It runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). iOS 6 starts rolling out for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch

Apple has released the iOS 6 for the public for iPhone 4S, iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, the new iPad, iPad 2 and iPod Touch (fourth generation). Apple announced the iOS 6 at WWDC 2012 in June that brings 200 new features including Apple-designed Maps app with turn-by-turn navigation, new Siri improvements, Facebook integration, Shared Photo Streams, Passbook app and more.

Opera Mini for Android v7.5 update brings Smart Page feature

Opera has updated the Opera Mini app for Android that brings the new Smart Page feature. This lets you view  your favorite sites, latest updates from social networks (Twitter and Facebook), news gathered from your favorite sites (via their RSS feeds) and suggested links on the home screen. The Smartpage feature was available in the Opera Mini Next and Opera Mini 7 for BlackBerry, Symbian and Java Phones earlier this May. Samsung Galaxy Note 2 Pre-Booking starts in India

Samsung has just started Pre-Booking for the much awaited Galaxy Note 2 on it’s India eStore. The device which is the successor to the original Note was unveiled last month at IFA Berlin along with the Galaxy Camera. The phone has a 5.5 inch display and runs Android JellyBean out of the box. Samsung is asking for Rs.5000 as an advance payment for the pre-booking which will be adjusted when the device goes on sale later this month. HTC has announced Windows Phone 8X, their new Windows Phone 8 device. It has a 4.3-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD display and is powered by a 1.5 GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor. ZTE and Mozilla partner up, plan on selling a Firefox phone in Q1 2013

Mozilla, makers of the once loved Firefox web browser, are trying to become relevant again. Their strategy is to create a mobile operating system that leverages their HTML rendering engine so that developers can write their applications using the same languages they’re used to using when creating websites. In other words, they want “web apps” to get the same sort of respect that “native apps” get. Today ZTE is announcing that they’re going to unveil a phone either by the end of this year or early next year running Mozilla’s OS. Winknet launches Ultimate and Wonder 9.7-inch and 7-inch tablets running Android 4.0

Winknet has launched 2 new tablets, Ultimate (TWY300) and Wonder (TWY100) in India. The Winknet Ultimate has a 9.7-inch capacitive touch screen display and the Winknet Wonder comes with a 7-inch capacitive touch screen display. Both these tablets are powered by a 1.5 GHz processor and runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). Winknet Ultimate features a 2 megapixel rear camera and a 0.3-megapixel front camera, while the Wonder sports a 0.3 megapixel front-facing camera.
