Acer Liquid E1 with 4.5-inch qHD display, Android 4.1 announced


Acer has announced the Liquid E1, a new mid-range smartphone in the Liquid series. It has a 4.5-inch (960 × 540 pixels) display and runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). It is powered by a 1GHz dual-core processor. It has a 5MP auto focus camera at the back with LED flash, 720p HD video recording. It also features a VGA front-facing camera. It also features DTS digital audio support for enhanced audio output.

No details about the price or the availability of the phone yet. We can expect Acer to showcase the smartphone at the MWC 2013 next month.
