Apple MacBook has had issues like sticking and non-responsive keys, backlight issues in display and the company also acknowledged the same. Today, another issue has cropped up in 15-inch MacBook Pro models and Apple is voluntarily recalling some models globally for a faulty battery that is causing overheat and poses a safety risk.
Huawei just announced MediaPad M6 series 10.8″ and 8.4″ along with the Nova 5 series in China. It comes in 10.8-inch and 8.4-inch versions with WQXGA (2560 x 1600 pixels) 2.5D curved glass display, are powered by an Octa-Core Kirin 980 SoC and run on Android 9.0 (Pie) with EMUI 9.1 on top. These pack a 13-megapixel auto focus rear camera with PDAF and an 8MP front camera. These feature a metal frame, but only the 10.8-inch model has a fingerprint sensor on the home button, below the display. Along with the Nova 5 and the Nova 5 Pro, HUAWEI also introduced the Nova 5i smartphone in China. It packs a 6.4-inch Full HD+ display with 90.8% screen-to-body ratio and has 24-megapixel in-screen camera, is powered by Kirin 710, unlike the Kirin 810 on the Nova 5, has up to 8GB of RAM, runs Android Pie with EMIUI 9.1 top, features quad rear cameras that includes a 24-megapixel primary camera, 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera, 2-megapixel camera for 4cm macro and a 2-megeapixel camera for portrait shots.
HUAWEI just announced Nova 5 and Nova 5 Pro smartphones in China, as it had promised. These phones pack a 6.39-inch Full HD+ OLED curved glass dewdrop notch display, run on Android 9.0 (Pie) with EMUI 9.1, and feature Leica quad-lens cameras with 48-megapixel sensor, a 16-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, 2-megapixel sensor for 4cm macro and a 2-megapixel for porait shots. Update – June 21, 2019: Realme has started rolling out ColorOS 6 stable update for the Realme 2 Pro again after it was stopped due to bootloader issues last month. This has the build number RMX1801EX_11_A.21, includes Android security patch for May, 2019 and is 2.68GB in size. It is rolling out gradually, but you can download the update ZIP file from Realme website here and update manually.
HUAWEI just introduced Kirin 810 SoC, successor of last year’s Kirin 710 that powers several mid-range smartphones. It also detailed some features of the processor. It uses 7nm processor technology, similar to the Kirin 980 flagship SoC, and the first for a mid-range SoC. This has two ARM Cortex-A76 bigger cores clocked at 2.27GHz and the other siz smaller ARM Cortex-A55 cores are clocked at 1.88GHz. It has ARM Mali-G52 MP6 GPU, which has a 162% performance improvement over the previous generation and supports Kirin Gaming+ technology. Google has officially confirmed that it is getting out of tablet business. Even though the company had two smaller-sized tablets under development, it will not release them. The company introduced Pixel Slate back in October last year along with the Pixel 3 phones. Before that the company had introduced Pixel C tablet back in 2015, which was discontinued in 2017. At that time the company said that it will focus on Pixelbook.

Last month, Google announced that it has suspended some of its business operations with HUAWEI which includes a ban on using Google Services and Play Store, later the period was extended for 3 months. After a month of the announcement of the ban, HUAWEI has today released a statement that it will continue to provide security patches and Android updates (including Android Q) to its existing smartphones. Alongside, HUAWEI smartphones, a range of HONOR smartphones are also expected to receive the update.
Google unveiled Android Q Beta 1 back in March, released Beta 2 in April 2019 and released Beta 3 earlier last month at I/O 2019. Many non-pixel smartphones were in the eligible list of smartphones to get Android Q Beta including OnePlus. The company released Android Q Developer Preview 1 last month and now, almost exactly after a month, the company has started rolling out Android Q Developer Preview 2 for OnePlus 7 and 7 Pro.
