HUAWEI just announced Nova 5 and Nova 5 Pro smartphones in China, as it had promised. These phones pack a 6.39-inch Full HD+ OLED curved glass dewdrop notch display, run on Android 9.0 (Pie) with EMUI 9.1, and feature Leica quad-lens cameras with 48-megapixel sensor, a 16-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, 2-megapixel sensor for 4cm macro and a 2-megapixel for porait shots. Ahead of the official announcement on July 21st, HUAWEI Nova 5 Pro has surfaced in press shots on jd.com. This confirms quad rear cameras, waterdrop notch screen with minimal bezels and an in-display fingerpritn scanner. The phone will come in 8GB RAM with 128GB or 256GB storage versions in Forest Green, Purple, Black and Coral Orange colors.

HUAWEI has announced that it will introduce the Nova 5 series at an event in China on June 21st. The company is expected to introduce the Nova 5, Nova 5 Pro and Nova 5i smartphones at the event. The Nova 5i is said to be similar to the Huawei P20 Lite (2019) that surfaced last month, which has also been certified by TENAA with the model numbers GLK-AL00 and GLK-TL00 confirming the specifications.
