HUAWEI just announced Nova 5 and Nova 5 Pro smartphones in China, as it had promised. These phones pack a 6.39-inch Full HD+ OLED curved glass dewdrop notch display, run on Android 9.0 (Pie) with EMUI 9.1, and feature Leica quad-lens cameras with 48-megapixel sensor, a 16-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, 2-megapixel sensor for 4cm macro and a 2-megapixel for porait shots. These have a 32-megapixel camera on the front. The Nova 5 is powered by the latest Kirin 810 SoC and the Nova 5 Pro is powered by Kirin 980.
These feature an in-display fingerprint scanner, gradient 3D glass back, and pack a 3500mAh battery with 40W HUAWEI SuperCharge fast charging that lets you charge the phone up to 50% in 15 minutes and 85% in 30 minutes.

The HUAWEI Nova 5 comes in Black, Purple and Green colors and is priced at 2799 yuan (US$ 407 / Rs. 28,335 approx.) for the only 8GB RAM with 128GB storage version. It will be available for order in China from July 13th and go on sale from 20th July.
The HUAWEI Nova 5 Pro comes in Black, Purple, Green and Orange colors, is priced at 2999 yuan (US$ 436 / Rs. 30,360 approx.) for the 8GB RAM with 128GB storage version and 3399 yuan (US$ 494 / Rs. 34,410 approx.) for the 8GB RAM with 256GB storage version. It is available for order starting today and goes on sale in China from June 28th.
