Xiaomi, Redmi and POCO MIUI 13 Update Tracker [Update: MIUI 13 to be Announced on December 28 in China]

Xiaomi will announce the next iteration of its proprietary Android skin – MIUI on December 28. To those unaware, MIUI versions are independent of the Android versions that means the devices (Xiaomi, Redmi, and POCO)  that aren’t eligible to get Android 12 update might at least get MIUI 13 update. Xiaomi has confirmed that the MIUI 13 will be introduced on December 28th in China.

Xiaomi will suspend the MIUI China Beta update for all the devices starting 13th December. Xiaomi, in a post on the Chinese forum, said,

Due to the adjustment of the software system architecture, the MIUI development version will be suspended for a period of time starting from 12.13, always believe that beautiful things are about to happen

A new finding by Xiaomiui suggests that MIUI 13 China Stable build (based on Android 12) for Redmi K40 Gaming Edition (known as POCO F3 GT in India) and Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G (known as POCO X3 GT globally) have entered into the testing phase.

These devices might get MIUI 13 China Stable update on the day of MIUI 13 announcement.

A new report by Xiaomiui suggests that MIUI 13 (China) will bring with it a newly redesigned Health app with Xiaomi Wear integration. The new Health app adds two new sections – Devices and My Account. The Devices section will let users manage their Xiaomi wearable within the Mi Health app itself. Apart from it, the existing Health Dashboard and Workouts sections will also get a visual overhaul.
