MIUI 14 announced for global markets – Check out list of Xiaomi, Redmi devices getting it

After the announcement in China in December, Xiaomi has introduced the MIUI 14 for the global markets at the Xiaomi 13 series launch event. This gets more efficient with optimized storage, offers more intuitive interactions, has new on-device privacy features and lets you be more connected than before.

Reimagined Home screen

You can arrange your home screen in your way. Using tabular icons, big folders, widgets and wallpapers to not only stylize your own home screen, but also make it look clearer and easier for your everyday use

Flexible and intuitive design

Introducing card-style design on your display just help to present your information more efficiently, just like Post-it notes but only more organized

Back-end optimization

MIUI is lighter than ever with optimized system resources that take up less storage and optimized overall system memory usage to free more memory. The rarely used apps will be auto-compressed by MIUI 14. Notifications are not permanent Now. If you do not need them any more, just close them.

On-device privacy

Sensitive items are processed without leaving your device. MIUI 14 minimizes such risks by using on-device privacy protection mechanisms that allow the processing of sensitive items directly on your device.

On-device privacy protection mechanisms allow MIUI 14 to recognize text on images quickly and accurately by using the capabilities of your device. On-device privacy is available for 10+ system services
