Epic Games released the Fortnite beta for Android exclusively on Samsung devices first, back in August. Later it was available through invite for select users of other smartphones. Now the game is available for all the compatible smartphones without an invite. It already said that the devices should run Android 8.0 or higher, should pack 3GB RAM or higher and require compatible GPU – Adreno 530 or higher, Mali-G71 MP20, Mali-G72 MP12 or higher.

HMD Global rolled out Android 9.0 (Pie) update for the Nokia 7 Plus last week. Today the company at its Nokia 7.1 launch event in London announced when the Pie update will arrive for its older phones.
Google today announced that it is rolling out new features on Google Maps to help you take control of your daily commute. The new commute tab feature one-tap access to live traffic and transit information tailored to your commute. It will let you know if your commute is going to be a normal one or if you’ll need extra time.

Google introduced Android Pie Beta program for a range of smartphones including the Nokia 7 Plus back in May. It released Android P Developer Preview 5 (Beta 4) for the smartphone last week. At the Nokia 6.1 Plus launch last month the company said that the Nokia 7 Plus will get the stable Android Pie update in September, but we are nearing the end of the month.

OnePlus has started rolling out OxygenOS 9.0 update based on Android 9.0 (Pie) for its flagship OnePlus 6 smartphone, in about four months after it released the Android P beta as one of the first manufacturers, and releasing three open beta updates this month. The company said that starting with the Android Pie, OxygenOS version number will correspond with the Android version number. Nokia 7 Plus is one of the first set of devices to get Android 9.0 Pie beta when it is announced by the Google at I/O 2018. At the same event, Google announced the Digital Wellbeing feature which was made available in beta back in August. It was available only to Pixel smartphones running Android Pie. However, Google seems to be expanding the feature to other devices as it pushed an update to Digital Wellbeing feature via Play Store to the Nokia 7 Plus.
