HMD Global has sent out invites for the launch of new Nokia smartphones on September 22nd in an online event. The company says that it will unveil a new chapter for Nokia phones with a very special guest. It also has a URL that says Nokia mobile Live 2020 that points to its Nokia Mobile YouTube page. It also has #OnlyGadgetYouNeed which it had already used for its partnership for the upcoming 25th Bond film ‘No Time To Die’. HMD Global opens new global R&D centre in Tampere, Finland

HMD Global ropes in former OnePlus executive Adam Ferguson as Head of Product Marketing

HMD Global, The Home of Nokia Phones has announced the appointment of Adam Ferguson, former Marketing Director at OnePlus Europe. He will be responsible for product marketing strategy and implementation for the complete portfolio of Nokia Phones. Before OnePlus, he had held marketing positions at EE, Nestlé and Unilever. Nokia 9 PureView to go on sale in the US from March 3rd, $100 off for limited period

HMD Global at the MWC 2019 event has introduced the Nokia 9 PureView smartphone with Penta cameras. The main highlight of the smartphone is its 12MP Penta rear cameras, two RGB and three monochrome lenses to collect up to 10-times the amount of light than a single color sensor, with ZEISS Optics. Developed in cooperation with multi-sensor camera company Light. Nokia 3.1 Plus and Nokia 2 V launched in the US on Cricket and Verizon

HMD Global has announced collaborations with three leading wireless providers in North America – Cricket Wireless and Verizon in the United States and Rogers Communications, Inc. in Canada. HMD Global for some time is known to be working on the flagship Nokia 9 smartphone with PureView camera. In the latest developments, Britta Gerbracht, German marketing head at the Nokia 8.1 launch admitted that there had been some delays. The company explains that the quality of the camera has not yet reached the necessary level, which is why HMD Global has refrained from a market launch. Nokia A1 Plus with OLED display, Snapdragon 845, in-display fingerprint sensor said to launch later this year

HMD Global is planning on launching a new high-end flagship Nokia smartphone. According to reports, the phone is said to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845.
