Huawei introduced EMUI 9.0 based on Android 9.0 (Pie) at the IFA 2018 last month. Earlier this month the company said that EMUI 9.0 will bring local language support, local calendar, deeper integration of Paytm, and more for India users. It also said that EMUI 9.0 will rolling out in beta for Huawei Mate 10, Mate 10 Pro, P20, P20 Pro, Honor 10, Honor View 10, and Honor Play soon. Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro is amongst best-selling devices launched this year, Xiaomi launched it running on Android Nougat despite launching in February and later in June rolled out Android Oreo update. Redmi Note 5 Pro runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 mobile platform and devices like Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1, Nokia 6.1 Plus and Motorola One Power with the same SoC are confirmed to receive Android Pie update in the coming month but Xiaomi has not announced their plans about Redmi Note 5 Pro Android Pie update. Epic Games released the Fortnite beta for Android exclusively on Samsung devices first, back in August. Later it was available through invite for select users of other smartphones. Now the game is available for all the compatible smartphones without an invite. It already said that the devices should run Android 8.0 or higher, should pack 3GB RAM or higher and require compatible GPU – Adreno 530 or higher, Mali-G71 MP20, Mali-G72 MP12 or higher.

HMD Global rolled out Android 9.0 (Pie) update for the Nokia 7 Plus last week. Today the company at its Nokia 7.1 launch event in London announced when the Pie update will arrive for its older phones.
Google today announced that it is rolling out new features on Google Maps to help you take control of your daily commute. The new commute tab feature one-tap access to live traffic and transit information tailored to your commute. It will let you know if your commute is going to be a normal one or if you’ll need extra time.
Xiaomi launched the Redmi 6A and Redmi 6 smartphones in India earlier this month running MIUI 9.5 based on Android 8.1 (Oreo) update. Google introduced Android Pie Beta program for a range of smartphones including the Nokia 7 Plus back in May. It released Android P Developer Preview 5 (Beta 4) for the smartphone last week. At the Nokia 6.1 Plus launch last month the company said that the Nokia 7 Plus will get the stable Android Pie update in September, but we are nearing the end of the month.
