Microsoft to make Windows free for devices with screens under 9 inches

One of the more interesting announcements out of the BUILD conference today was Microsoft’s announcement to make Windows free for a whole host of devices. Traditionally OEMs have paid up to $15 per handset sold as licensing fee for Windows Phone 8. This has proven to be a hindrance in the growth of the operating system especially in the lower segment. With cost sensitive players like Micromax getting on board the Windows Phone bandwagon, this move makes all the more sense. Rumor: Android 4.2 to be released in a few days as an incremental update for Jelly Bean

Everyone is excited about the next Nexus and also the next version of Android. Rumors are going around that the next Nexus will be announced with a new version of Android, maybe 4.2. But according to software versions spotted on server logs  show that that Android 4.2 will be coming out sooner than expected, within about two weeks and it might be an incremental update for Jelly bean and not Key-Lime Pie as we were expecting it to be.

Samsung Might Announce Quad-Core Windows 8 Tablet Next Week
