Spice today announced its latest product, the Stellar Pad Mi-1010 tablet. The tablet is equipped with an HD IPS display and is powered by a 1.5Ghz dual core processor. There’s also a quad core GPU on board. The tablet is one of the few models running Jellybean 4.1 in India as of now. HTC One S JellyBean update roll out starts

HTC has started the roll out of the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update in some markets including UK. We had access to a UK unit and a massive 600 MB update showed up via OTA today. The update bears the version number 3.16.401.8 and measures 612.27 MB.We decided to give it a go and it was the much awaited jelly bean update. HTC had promised that it will release Android 4.1 JellyBean for the One S and One X this year and looks like the Taiwanese phone maker is keeping its word ! Samsung Galaxy Note 2 to hit Online Store on September 27 in India

Samsung is gearing up to launch the upgraded version of the immensely popular Galaxy Note – Galaxy Note 2 in India later this week.  Samsung had opened pre-bookings for the device and consumers could reserve a Galaxy Note 2 by paying Rs.5000 as an advance.In an email to customers who had pre-booked the phone on the company’s eStore , it is mentioned that the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 will be launched on the 27th on the eStore.The Note 2 has some interesting specs including a 5.5 inch display and a 3100 mAh battery and a Quad-core CPU.

Android Jelly Bean port ready for Intel smartphones, No word on roll out

Waiting for Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) to hit your Lava X900 ? You’re in luck as Intel has just finished off porting the latest version of Android to its Medfield chips. The Android 4.1 build is complete and is being used as a daily driver by Intel employees said Mike Bell, Mobile group General Manager, in an interview with PC World.

I was recently in the US on a short visit and managed to pick up the Google Nexus 7 first Android Tablet to run on Android 4.1 JellyBean. Here is a quick unboxing video of the this tiny little tablet from Google & Asus which is priced at $199 (excluding tax and shipping).
